"Vivian" I say in my pissed of voice I never use. I haven't used in years really my men never disobey a direct order
"mummy" the twins cry run to shelley. she looks at me as I look around the room. angel holding a vase. axel hands up trying to calm angel. rose in her bra and underwear with ben wrapped around her. that ill sort fucking later.
"ange vase down" I growl as her eyes widen at my tone
"protecting your grand babie daddy" she says innocently as I see shelley try not to smile as axel looks at ange I surprise. I want to say something about that too but Vivian is watching me
"you raised them like this" she says one arm coming out
"leave" I command as she steps closer to me
"I left you to raise them trace and I come back to find you not at the club, not at the old family home we bought. know where to colour my surprise when I found out my fiancé is married" she says like we are engaged I see shelley stifling a laugh considering I thought she would be angry
"kids upstairs" shelley says then looks to rose
"baby you need clothes on and you have shift in a few hours. I got a new position for you" she says ushering the kids upstairs my women took control. Vivian grabbed Shelley's arm I went to move forward but Cory grabbed his mothers arm and in a tone I have never heard from him
"get your hands of my mother" he says dead tone making me even be a fucking proud as shit. the kid held authority.
"Cory baby" Vivian goes to say but Cory shook his head
"you okay mum" Cory says kissing Shelley's cheek as she pats his chest
"I am all good I have a board meeting. rose get clothes on sort this out with your brother and father" she says Cory nods rose smiles and kisses ben. making me growl a little. shelley walks over and kisses me like I am her world.
"clean up the mess baby" she says walking up stairs with the kids following her.
"Vivian" I say annoyed she has turned up when the kids are adults.
"your married" she says shocked as if I would never take on someone else
"been married for a long time" I say annoyed at her emotions towards this
"trace we made a deal" she coos
"deal" I ask
"yeah I gave you the children so I could take my family fortune" she says I nod knowing why she left
"yeah I remember. you handed me the engagement ring. told me to keep the kids. told me to never call. told me to tell the you died. you Vivian. you gave up every right to them with your fathers help. all so you gain money" I roar she flinches knowing its all true.
"never thought" she goes to say but rose finishes
"that we wouldn't want you. that we have a better life without you. that my mum who loves me through and through would be a amazing doctor and helped me get my career excepted cory when he told her he was gay. she evan threw him a fucking coming out party" she says in calm and collective tone. she heard everything I told viv. she heard it all.
"dad told me you left to make a life for your self him being a prez and all. he took the blame. held us while we cried out for a mother who mind you sold us for riches" she yells the last part as cory comes down the stairs
"shelley is more of a mother than you will ever be" she says
"rose darling she is a child her self" she says in a laugh
