It had almost been a week since I last saw Jamie and the other band members. Jamie apparently left that weekend without telling me, so I kind of felt neglected. Used. He didn't text me, but I didn't really expect him to though. But yet, there was an empty feeling in my stomach. Alex and I were sitting in the car, he was busy staring out of the window and seemed lost in thoughts. My mom and dad were quietly sitting in the front when we stopped at an empty parking lot were the tour bus stood parked. Alex looked up at three people with suitcases. I looked as well and soon realized it were Nick, Matt and Jamie. We all got out of the car and headed towards the bus to meet up with the lads. My dad brought Alex's and my suitcases as well and gave them to the bus driver.
'Ey up?' Matt yelled from the other side of the parking lot to Alex.
'Reyt!' Alex shouted. I grinned when they gave each other a hug.
My dad placed a hand upon my shoulder and looked me right in the eye.
'Scarlett, are you sure ya wanna do this? Once you're on that bus, you'll be gone for another three months and you will only 'ave a week left thu prepare on yer exams...' he asked with worry in his eyes. Oh, yeah, forgot to tell you, well, apparently Alex lied about that little concert. They will be touring around in America and I am coming with them, leaving my parents behind. I nodded to my father.
'Dad, don't worry 'bout me. I 'ave me books with me. I'll study as much as I can,' I assured him. He nodded in approval. 'Bye, love yah.' I kissed my dad on the cheek and gave him a big hug. He smiled down at me.
'I love ya two, midget.' I frowned at his commented and he laughed.
'I'm not small,' I mumbled under my breath. I turned to my mother and said goodbye.
I approached the boys and smiled at them. Nick was the first one to greet me.
' 'Ello, Scarlett, nice to see you again,' he spoke in the most adorable low voice you had ever heard.
'Hey, Nick, how are you?' I asked, a smile spread across my face.
'Good, good, thanks,' he told me. I nodded and turned to Matt.
'Miss Turner!' He yelled at me before crushing me into one of his hugs. I had a hard time breathing until he let go of me again.
'Hey, Matt,' I greeted him. I then looked for Jamie, but he wasn't anywhere to be seen. 'Where's Jamie?'
'Pissin' ,' Alex laughed. 'Ya might wanna wait a sec 'til ya say 'ello thu him,' he stated. I blushed already.
'Reyt,' I mumbled. I got on the bus and sat near the window, staring at my parents. The boys placed their instruments in the bus and also stepped inside the bus. I glanced at Alex who sat all the way in the back, a sandwich in his hand. Matt went to sit next to him while Nick chose to sit next to me. I smiled at him.
'Exciting, isn't it?' he said with a shaky voice. I nodded.
'Yes, it is. This is the time ye lads go thu America. And I am coming with ya,' I giggled just as nervous, but that mostly because we would be flying in a plane later on. I shrugged the thought of me.
'Whot thu fock was takin' ya so long, Jameh?' Matt laughed when Jamie entered the bus.
'Trouble with ya zipper?' Alex smirked.
'Ge'ore!' Jamie spat, and that's when he spotted me. He smiled genuinely and his face immediately lit up.
'Didn't know ya were comin' too,' Jamie said, his eyes scanning my body.
' 'Ello,' I responded awkwardly. He smirked.
'Oi, Nick, move.' He shoved Nick away.
'No, mate, I'm sittin' here,' Nick protested. Jamie smirked mischievous.
'I didn't say 'ello thu her yet, move.' Nick moodily stood up and danced his way to Alex and Matt. Jamie sat down where only seconds ago Nick sat. And I must say, I was a little upset with that. I really liked talking to Nick. And I wasn't nervous around him, I was when it came to Jamie. I took a sharp breath and slowly exhaled. 'Everythin' kay?' he asked, I nodded.
'Yes,' I whispered. He took in my appearance before he continued talking to me.
'How's yer week been?'
'Good. I suppose. Yours?' He shhrugged.
'Missed yah, thu be honest.' I scoffed. 'What?' he asked, a smile playing on his lips.
'Ya didn't told me when you where leaving last weekend. I was done studin' and I asked Alex where yah guys where and he said you were already gone.' He put an arm around my shoulder and pulled me against him.
'Yeh, sorry 'bout that, but would be suspicious when I would've asked to say goodbye.' His apology sounded reasonable, but I was still aa little upset. So I told him what I felt, to lift the weight of my shoulders.
'I missed ya too, you twat,' I tried to scold, but failed miserably. He laughed and kissed the top of my head.
The rest of the ride was silent, Jamie stroking the back of my hand while whispering in my ear every now and then. But he didn't kiss me yet, and I pouted at that fact, but I understood. If Alex saw... he would be pissed.
We finally arrived at the airport and I needed to use the restroom. I kind of ran towards it, leaving the lads behind. I had been hiding my crowded bladder for way too long. I closed the door of the toilet I was in and did what you are used to do on a toilet. I sighed and finished eventually.
I got out of the toilet, but was quickly pushed inside again. My vision went blurry for a few seconds and I heard the door being locked. When I could see properly again, I saw Jamie smirking at me and he turned us around and pushed me against the filthy door. He put his hands on both sides of my face and looked down at me.
'Sorry, love, just couldn't wait a second longer,' he apologized before his lips crashed onto mine. It took me a few seconds before I realized what was going on before I desperately kissed him back. I smiled into the kiss as he trailed his tongue over my bottom lip. I denied him acces to my mouth and he groaned. I grinned and placed one hand on his cheek and the other one on his shoulder. He bit down on my lip and I tried my best not to moan. We heard footsteps coming into the bathroom, waiting for us to use the toilet.
'Jamie,' I whispered, but that was such a mistake... because my teasing plan failed. He slipped his tongue inside my mouth and slowly started to circle around in my mouth. I surrendered and let him have his way with me for a few minutes. We were both panting really heavily when we eventually pulled apart. Jamie looked triumphantly at me, but we snapped back to reality when we heard the person sigh. Shit.
'Don't worry, Scarlett,' Jamie whispered. 'I' handle this.' Oh, was that supposed to relax me? I rolled my eyes when he pushed me behind him and opened the door to reveal a business man in a smart suit. The man looked at Jamie suspiciously. 'Yeah, sorry sir, we were busy. 'Ope ya don't mind. But I'll let ya piss nah. We'll go somewhere else. Yah don't 'ave thu thank me. We're just very decent people with a lot of understandin' toward other people. Well, noice thu meet yah, anyway,' Jamie rambled in his thick Sheffield accent. The man his eyebrows cocked up, and for a moment I was worried that they would fly away. Jamie grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the toilet as we walked back to the bus.
'Eeh by gum!' I exclaimed as we were walking on the parking lot. 'You are such an idiot!' I facepalmed. He snickered.
'Oh, come on, darlin', yah, liked it, didncha?' His voice sounded amused, but I was too embarrassed to even look up at him.
'What if that was my brother or Nick or Matt?' I asked.
'They would be sorry that they could't watch,' he replied. That comment put a smile on my face. And with that we walked back to the bus to grab our suitcases and eventually get on our plane.
