I got a call from Heather.
Me: hey Heather, hows your dad?
Heather: he died while they were operating
Me: oh my god I'm so sorry. Are you okay?
Heather: no, not really
Me: is there anything I can do?
Heather: can I have this week off? I'm a walking disaster right now.
Me: yeah

Heather: also can you keep this quiet?

Shane walked in. Shane said what's wrong? I said Heather's dad died yesterday. Shane said is she okay? I said no, she's only 22 and her dad was all she had.
