Heather P.O.V
I was in the waiting room waiting on my dad to get out of surgery. I got a text from my friend Jade.
Jade: how's your dad?
Me: he's not out yet
Jade: I'm praying for him
Me: thank you
Jade: you're welcome
I sat there and scrolled through Instagram. I got a dm from Peyton Royce.
Peyton: hey, did you get fired?
I left her on read. I continued scrolling through Instagram. A nurse walked over and said are you Heather Jones? I said yes ma'am. The nurse said please come with me. I said okay. She took me to an empty room. I said is my dad out. She said I'm sorry but he didn't make it. I said what? The nurse said I'm so sorry. I said I have to go. I ran out to my car and cried.
5 minutes later
I left the hospital and went home.
37 minutes later
I walked in my house and I screamed. I had a full blown break down. I couldn't stop crying. I sat on the couch and just cried....
