The thought of travelling excited Milan. It pleased her, going on untold adventures and exploring an unknown world. Although flying to England wasn't exactly new to her, it still made Millie feel happier than usual.
Miss Moretti was born in one of the most beautiful cities in Italy, Turin. She spent the first five years of many, living in her family home at the heart of the city. Having military parents was never easy for Milan: never at home, always out on deployment, lots of injury's and the scary factor that it even the littlest thing went wrong, they'd be dead.
That's why Mr and Mrs Moretti came to the tough decision that their daughter was going to go and live with her Aunt and Uncle in Merseyside, Liverpool.
Upon arrival, being an only child, Millie instantly became inseparable from her cousin: Jordan. She found it comforting having an 'older brother' figure around to talk to when things got hard without her parents around and getting used to living in England.
Although they were eight years apart, they had an unbreakable bond and barely spent a few hours apart; but that became difficult to maintain when Jordan was chosen as Liverpool FC's first team captain and became a father.
Him and Milan were still close but he had so much to handle from looking after his two girls and his wife, to playing football games every week and training almost every day.
Things took a turn when Millie moved out to LA to pursue her dream to sing. She was an amazing vocalist and because her management was based in California, Miss Moretti thought it was best to move out to the US and follow her heart.
Jordan and her grew apart but still spoke almost every day. It was hard not being able to see her 'older brother' but she knew that one day they would reunite and their bond would be stronger than ever.
Milan instantly made friends with some local girls in LA and spent many nights sharing their favourite ice cream, staying up late watching silly rom-coms and dramatic Netflix series's. She especially found an amazing friend in a fellow singer in the same management - Madison Beer.
She was so inspirational everything she had been through and really helped Millie through lots of hard times.
This was the first time Milan was leaving the US and going home since she moved out of the country three years prier. She was thrilled to finally be going home for two months to attend and perform at the BRITS and visit her friends and family in Liverpool.
The BRITS would be the first big concert/show Millie had ever performed at. She was excited but extremely nervous.
What she was most excited for though is surprising Jordan. He has no clue that she was coming back to England. She had already planned to stay at the Henderson household as she had previously had many conversations with Jordans wife, Rebecca.
Milan also got to visit her two nieces, shes only met the oldest ( Sophia) but the youngest (Ava) she still had yet to meet.
Miss Moretti was travelling straight to Liverpool John Lennon Airport to stay with the Henderson's for 2 weeks before the BRIT awards and then she would be going down to London the day before the ceremony and staying for two days; Millie would then go back to Liverpool for another month and a half.
Little did she know this trip would change her life...
