The Lost Princess

A Decision and an Adventure

Kiara's POV

"You're the lost princess. You have been living a lie, your name isn't Piper it's Kiara and you're 14 and your from the planet Celifreyana and your parents are king and queen. You had a perception filter cast on you and I removed it but I can put it back if you're not ready to go home. The man you called your uncle is the traitor who kidnapped you. While you were asleep I got rid of him so he's no longer a threat in your life."

I stared at my reflection and said, "It can't be true. I'm not a princess." He shook his head. He took out his wand thingy and whirred it and it disappeared. I saw my normal brown haired, freckle faced self. I touched my face again and felt the normal skin.

"Who are you? And where are we?" I asked.

The man replied, "I'm the Doctor, and you're inside the Tardis. I'm from Gallifrey and I have 2 hearts and I'm a time lord."

I smirked, "Well that's very informative." I walk towards the door and open it. The door flies open and I see the galaxy of stars and constellations. "Woah." I mutter and the doctor comes up to me and smiles.

"Everybody does that. Out of all of time and space, Princess Kiara Celeste where would you like to go?" I smile and close the door.

"Well lets go to the past. I always wanted to go to the past where there's knights and princesses!"

He laughed, "Okay one trip to the past coming right up!" He runs to the console and presses some buttons and yells, "Hold on to something!" I grab onto the handle and hang on for dear life. A whooshing noise filled the air and I gripped onto the console as tight as I could. The Tardis stopped and I released the console. Looked at the Doctor and he gave me a go on go ahead look.

I smiled and first said, "Wait! I have blood stains on my clothes? May I just change into something else?"

He replied, "Oh go ahead you are no fun! Blood never killed anybody!"

I said, "Well I don't like blood so much so yeah, I'm sorry but where is there a closet?"

He replied, "Go down the hall turn to the right then the first door on your left." I walk down the hallway and find the door. I opened the door and saw a bunch of clothes hanging on a huge rack. I moved down the rack to find girl's clothing. I picked a maroon sweater with a pair of jeans. I threw off my old clothes and put them on the floor. Then moved over to a shoe rack and found a pair of black converse. I threw them on praying they fit and happily they did. I pulled my hair into a ponytail and found my way back the TARDIS console.

"You ready Kiara?" The Doctor said.

"You know it! Finally I get to be free from my Uncle!" I replied. The Doctor offered his arm and I linked mine with his. I opened the door and muttered, "Woah." The Doctor chuckled as I checked out the scenery. We were in a market area. There was a dusty road and along the sides were tons of little booths. We walked down the road checking out the different booths and all the scenery.

"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE FOREIGNERS!" A voice yelled. We looked around and everyone was looking at us. A man walked right up to us.

"Um, excuse me kind sir, we are travelling from our homeland, Celifreyana and I'm with the Princess Kiara I'm sure you wouldn't want to upset her father's orders." The Doctor said.

"I beg my apologies, Princess Kiara, are you of need of anything?" The man said.

"Horses, ask for horses." The Doctor muttered.

"I require horses for travel purposes." I said. The man motioned for us to follow him and when walking I asked, "Hey Doctor, how do people know who I am?"

"Well, your mother's name is Kiara and you were named after her so they think you're her." He said.

"Well then how come they don't question my appearance" I said.

"Perception filter remember?" He replied. I nodded and continued following the man. We finally arrived at a stable.

The man said, "I'm afraid I only have one horse M'lady."

"That shall work perfectly fine Sir. Thank you." I said. He walked off and the Doctor jumped on the horse.

"Um, Doctor how do I get on?" I asked. He held his hand out and I took it, and pulled me on. I immediately wrapped my arms around his waist and held on for dear life. The horse reared and the Doctor held onto the reins. Off we went through the village riding as fast as the speed of light until we came across a castle.

"Doctor please don't tell me we're actually going to explore the castle?" I moaned.

"How did you guess my brilliant plans?" He said back at me. I sighed and the Doctor got off the horse. He offered me a hand to get down and I took it. We tied the horse to a tree and walked to the castle.

"Shouldn't we scan for alien technology? Just in case?" I asked. The Doctor thought for a moment.

"Nah I think we'll be fine! Now come on!" He grabbed my hand and started running. Man this guy really likes to run everywhere. We eventually came to the door of the castle he rose his hand to knock when the door slowly creaked open. I gulped and grabbed the Doctor's hand.

"Calm down Kiara, there's nothing to be afraid of." He said.

"Sure when I get attacked by aliens then tell me there's nothing to be afraid of." I replied sarcastically. He chuckled and lead me into the castle. We roamed the halls trying to find a sigh of life anywhere.

"Doctor does this look suspicious to you?" I ask hesitantly. Looking around I spot shadows moving slowly.

"Nah, your just scared and when your scared you think everything is going to lunge at the right moment and attack you." He replied. I looked around and still saw the shadows and now felt the dreaded feeling of being watched.

"Doctor......" I replied like a little girl who's afraid of the dark.

"Kiara there's nothing to be afraid of-" He was cut off by 10 people jumping out from practically no where. That's when it all went downhill.
