Cedarnose and Bubblepelt walked back to NeptuneClan camp. "I wonder what those cats ment." Cedarnose murmured to the other she-cat. Bubblepelt shrugged, "I do too. SunClan is always so vague, confusing as well." She stated and fluffed out her fur against the soft yet cold breeze that nipped at their noses.
Cedarnose nodded in agreement, "Though I have only been a real medicine cat for about five moons I can already tell Graybreeze was a bit annoyed when we woke up from our visions. This one seems easy though." She flicked her tail in greeting to the former four apprentices, Splashspot, Birdtalon, Aspenwood, and Dovebelly, who were standing virgil at the thorn tunnel. They flicked their tails in reply.
Cedarnose and Bubblepelt went into the medicine cats den and they both curled up in their nests.

Cedarnose woke up the next morning to a prod to the shoulder, "What?" She groaned and opened her eyes to look up at the blurry figure of Onekit, " What, Onekit?" She asked.
Onekit glared at the molly, "I am Onepaw!" He gave Cedarnose another shove with her paws. Cedarnose rolled her eyes but then gasped, "Great SunClan! I slept through your apprentice ceremony! I'm such a lazy shrew." She murmured before getting up and grooming herself.
Cedarnose glanced at Onepaw, "Okay. What did you come in here to tell me?" She asked, tilting her head to the side. Onepaw blinked, "I came here to tell you my mentor, Spiderwillow, told me to help you find herbs." He explained.
Cedarnose nodded, "Are Cinderpaw and Heronpaw coming?" She asked. Onepaw nodded. Cedarnose got up, flicking her tail for the slightly smaller tom to follow her. Cinderpaw and Heronpaw sprinted over, "Hey, Cedarnose." Cinderpaw greeted as Cedarnose exited the medicine cat den with Onepaw.
Cedarnose purred, "Hello, Cinderpaw, and Heronpaw." She replied, "Who are your mentors?" She asked as she headed to the thorn tunnel with the three apprentices. Heronpaw was first to reply, "Oakbrook." He said. Cinderpaw glanced at her brother, "I got Redfin." She mewed, "He is scary." She shuddered. Cedarnose let out an amused mrrow of laughter.
Cedarnose shook her head, "He is not. Just strict and even a bit snappy at times. His two daughters, Featherstone and Minnowshine, left the clan to become a rogue and I'm sure he was just angry." She suggested, not realizing she had crossed the VenusClan border. Cinderpaw nodded, "Perhaps." She sniffed.
Onepaw looked confused, "I didn't know he had kits." He waved his tail. Heronpaw nudged Onepaw, "Of course he did, mouse-brain!" He exclaimed.
Suddenly five VenusClan cats walked out of the bushes and surrounded them, "Get off of our territory!" One snarled, curling their lips back. She recognized the cat, she was Brackenpool. The other four cats were Shrewwood, Thistlewatcher, Pondsky, and Amberdrop. Shrewwood hissed, "Are you deaf?" He asked, frusterated.
Cinderpaw fluffed up her kit-like fur, "She is a medicine cat!" She exclaimed. Heronpaw puffed out his chest, "I can fight you all!" He hissed back, it didn't sound very threatening. Onepaw just shrunk. A brown mottled she-cat emerged from the bushes, "Back down, patrol." She mewed sternly to Shrewwood, Pondsky, Brackenpool, Amberdrop, and Thistlewatcher. The five cats let their fur lie flat, but they still looked battle-hungry.
The brown mottled mottled cat walked in front of the patrol, "Who are you?" She bared her teeth at the apprentices and Cedarnose.
Cedarnose glanced at Cinderpaw to the mysterious she-cat. "I'm Cedarnose, one of the medicine cats from NeptuneClan," She explained, unmoved by the threatening posture of the brown cat, "Who are you?" She demanded politely yet firmly.
The brown mottled molly snorted, "I'm Willowfall, well now I'm Willowstar." The Willowstar flaunted the 'star in her name. Cinderpaw sniffed Willowstar, her nose scrunching up, "You smell like kittypet." She mewed, sounding disgusted.
Willowstar glared at the young she-cat, "And you smell like fox-dung." She stated, unsheathing her long claws and lashing her tail. Shrewwood had a sly look on his face while Amberdrop unsheathed her claws as well with a battle-hungry look on her face.
Cinderpaw hissed, getting on her hindpaws and batted Brackenpool's nose. She earned a snarl from the she-cat. Cedarnose growled, "We are not here to fight, Cinderpaw. And I didn't purposefully cross the border." She kept her fur flat, using her tail to move the apprentices behind her. Willowstar glared at Cedarnose, "Get off my territory. Now!" She roared, flicking her tail for Amberdrop and Brackenpool to attack.
Cedarnose gasped, dodging a blow from Brackenpool. Amberdrop barreled over Heronpaw, who was surprisingly able to claw her stomach. Cedarnose took out her claws. She knew enough battle moves to defend herself from the furious Brackenpool. Cedarnose raked her claws against Brackenpool's back swiftly, her ears twitching as she got knocked over by Brackenpool and Thistlewatcher. The two cats nipped at her tail. Cedarnose gasped, shoot in up and aiming her claws at Thistlewatcher's muzzle. With one swift move, Thistlewatcher yowled in pain. Brackenpool was fighting Cinderpaw, Amberdrop was still fighting Heronpaw, Onepaw was nowhere to be seen. Cedarnose gasped when she realized Willowstar wasn't there either. She then felt a sharp pain in her side.
She looked over to see Pondsky with bared teeth and a long gash in her side with blood oozing from it. Heronpaw kicked Amberdrop against a tree and ran over, batting at Pondsky's nose with a hard effort, darting out of the way as Amberdrop knocked over Heronpaw angrily. Cinderpaw slashed her claws in the air at Brackenpool. Brackenpool then yowled, "Retreat, Willowstar got what she wanted!" The five cats stopped what they were doing and darted off quickly.
Heronpaw had a few scratches on his muzzle and sides. His sister had a torn claw and a couple bleeding scratches on her chest. Cedarnose had a long gash on her left side and a scratched muzzle.
Cinderpaw gasped, "Where is Onepaw?" She wailed. Cedarnose looked uncertain, "SunClan knows. I think Willowstar wanted him or something. Brackenpool yowled something about Willowstar getting what she wanted." She suggested.
Heronpaw nodded, "Yeah. I miss him already." He murmured. Cedarnose flicked her tail for the two to come over. "Heronpaw, get me some cobwebs. Cinderpaw, get marigold. Marigold is a plant with little, yellow flowers." She ordered. Cinderpaw and Heronpaw darted off to get what they were told to get.
Heronpaw came back with a pawful of cobwebs, "Here." He gave Cedarnose the cobwebs. Cinderpaw came back a bit later with stalks of marigold.
Cedarnose flicked her tail for Cinderpaw to come over. Cinderpaw sat beside Cedarnose. Cedarnose licked the cuts then put the juice into the apprentice's cuts, patching them up with cobwebs soon after. Heronpaw came over after his sister, Cedarnose repeating the process on him as well as herself.
Cedarnose got to her paws and nosed the apprentices back to camp, they picked a few juniper berries and golden rod on the way back.
