Cat

Kumagai was picking up groceries and she was not happy about it. She hated picking up groceries. At least Hirabayashi made a list, except this time. He was running late today for his training session with Fugawa or Akiko as he wanted everyone to call him. He was very blunt and very much annoying. Anyways that's beside the point. She was alone. No list, no person to help her.  Just her and a cat..... wait

She was freaking out. There was a cat in the ally, in a box. She heard the meow and immediately thought it was a mountain lion and then realized that thought was ridiculous. She crept towards the box, thinking it would pop up and claw her face any second but when she saw the cat her face melted into one of awe. The cat was a fluffy cat, she wasn't sure what kind of cat it was. Maybe Miyoshi would know. I should take it to the dorms! But what if someone was allergic? She was kinda sad about that but then an idea popped into her head what if I just asked the group chat! She opened the group chat and sent them a picture and said 'I am bringing this cat to the dorms' and turned off her notifications.

She picked up the cat gingerly and held the cat to her chest. The cat just made a little mewl and cuddled up to Kumagais chest as it was very cold outside. Then Kumagai had a brilliant idea, she put the cat back in the box and turned her jacket around and zipped it up. She put the cat in her, now in front hood, and set off towards the pet store. About five minutes later she got there, the cat sleeping soundly in her hood. She got a cart and set on her way. 

The store wasn't very packed as it was late. She got some cat foot, a cat food and water bowl, litterbox, and litter. She checked out and went on her way back to the dorms. When she got there she saw a very angry looking Hirabayashi "why are you bringing a cat into the dorms?! And why weren't you answering any of our texts?! and why-" Kumagai just ignored him and went into the dorms. Everyone was questioning her but she just went to Miyoshis room and placed all of the stuff down, including the cat. Miyoshi walked into his room and looked at the cat and back at Kumagai. "Why?" Miyoshi asked. She just shrugged and hummed as she turned around and filled the food bowl and litter box. Suddenly Akiko burst into the room yelling over and over again "KITTY" and picked up the kitten and squeezed the cat. The cat let out a strangled meow. Akiko stopped squeezing the kitten but still held on to it.

"Where did you find-" he held up the cat and then put it back to his chest "him". 

"Okay whatever anyways, where did that kitten come from?"

"a box"

"a box?"

"A box"

"a box!"

"a box"

"WILL YOU PEOPLE JUST SHUT UP ABOUT BOXES"

"jeez, okay"

"you don't have to yell"
