I only resorted to the river because someone couldn't help flinging from branch to branch.", Silver'paw said. Frost'paw shook his head and cracked a small smile.
"Let's just take the prey back to the clan you furry fish.", Frost'paw said amused and picked up his prey. Silver'paw did a small dramatic gasp and giggled as she went to pick up her prey.They trotted back to the clan playfully shoving each other. They walked through the thorn barrier to see hostile glares given to a group of cats. Silver'paw looked at Frost'paw confused. He returned the look as they dropped their prey in the fresh kill pile.
"I won't repeat this again Ice'star. You will give up half your prey pile for the crimes your clan committed!", a black and yellow she-cat snarled.
"Hornet'star, I will not give you even piece of crow food. I shall not make my clan suffer for the false accusations you bring.", Ice'star spat back at her.
"Mark my words Ice'swoop, I will punish your clan and its allies for this act of disrespect.", Hornet'star growled.
"It's Ice'star, you piece of mouse dun-", the deputy started. The leader raised her tail as a signal to her deputy to stop.
"Hear my words and hear them well Hornet'star." "If any Riverclan cat so much has a hair in my territory my warriors shall not hesistate to shred them to pieces.", Ice'star growled. Hornet'star hissed at her then whipped around. The riverclan cats walked out of camp. The apprentices looked at each other.
"What in the name of the stars happened?", Silver'Paw meowed. Frost'Paw shrugged.
"We should probably find out though-", Frost'Paw meowed.
Silver'Paw nodded and walked towards her old friend Shadow'Paw that seemed to have seen the whole comotion go down.
"Shadow'Paw!", she called catching his attention.
"Oh hey Silver whats up?", he mewed at her. Her ears flattened.
"Stop calling me that.", she growled. Shadow'paw put his tail neatly around his paws. "Came to growl at me?", He mewoed flatly. She sighed and sat down.
"No, I want to know what the whole comotion with Riverclan was.", she said putting her tail in a comfy position. He looked at her shocked.
"You don't know about Riverclan's scheme?!", he yelled in complete shock. She shushed his and looked at him sternly. "No I dont know tell me whats the 'Riverclan scheme'.", she mewed firmly.
"Well Thunderclan warriors have been picking up scents and evidence that Riverclan has been over our border and over Windclan's." "Then Shrew'Paw heard Ragged'Claw talking about attacking Thunderclan to Holly'Leap.", Shadow'Paw whispered to her. Silver'Paw looked at him wide eyed and alarmed.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!", She yelled out making Frost'Paw look at her confused, and concerned. She then shrank back to look at Shadow'Paw. He nodded and tilted his head as she just stared at him dumbfounded.
"Honestly Silver'Paw it was already noticable that Riverclan was acting fishy.", Shadow'Paw said in an amused purr. Silver'Paw let out a small laugh then pawed his shoulder.
"Your puns are awful as always.", she said in the midst of giggles. Shadow'Paw purred.
"Your over dramatic as always.", He purred back. She glared at him and got up. "Well i guess it was nice talking to you, see you around.", she meowed and bounced back to Frost'Paw spilling the news. She bounced up and down looking at him with a smile. Frost'paw looked as dumbfounded as she was before. Shadow'Paw stared at them with a sad smile.
