My name's Adalynne and I'm 15. I, just like every other teen girl, have an obsession. You could even take one look at me or have a 3-second conversation with me and you would know immediately. I'm obsessed with the band Panic! At The Disco. I have every single one of their albums, posters cover my wall, I have all the band merch, I've been to some of their concerts, I've sent fan mail (and gotten autographs back *crazy teenage screech of excitement and unbelievableness*), and last year I won a guitar signed by Brendon Urie through an online contest. Most of the time, I just lay around in my room and listen to their music, watch their concerts on YouTube, or watch/listen to the interviews they do. I practically know what they do every second of every day. I'm just kidding. But yeah. I guess I'm at least a little insane.
My family doesn't understand my chosen lifestyle (as I like to call it), but they support it. I mean, who else is supposed to buy my band merch? (I'm not a brat. I swear). My mom is a business woman. She's in charge of a fancy-shmancy company called Juice-Flo. That's right. You guessed it. It's a juice company. She's in charge of the advertising side of things. They're always looking for new ways to attract customers to their juice. It's ok. I think it's healthy or something. We always have it around the house, and I'm honestly sick of the stuff.
My dad is a math teacher at the local college. I do pretty well in my math classes because he always wants to help me with homework. He loves his job. He loves teaching people and being the center of attention.
I have an older brother named Jackson. He's in college now, but every time he visits, I tease him. Every time he walks by, I sing, "no one knows it's you Miss Jackson."
He gets pissed off about it, but I think it's the funniest thing in the world every time I do it. I'm a dork.I live in a small town in Alabama called Freemont. I'm a freshman at Freemont High School. I do pretty well in school. I usually get A's and B's. I'm amazing at multitasking. I can pay attention to a Panic! concert and write an essay for English class AT THE SAME TIME.
I basically have like 2 close friends and that's it. They're all I could ever ask for though. Laura has been my best friend since 2nd grade. I was in the bathroom and I guess my stall didn't shut all the way or something and she didn't know I was in there so she just pushed the door open. She laughed, I laughed, and we became friends. That sounds really stupid, but it's true. And then, Zach came along. In 4th grade, he colored my left arm purple in art class when I had fallen asleep one day. Our teacher was telling us the history of some artist that I couldn't remember for the sake of Brendon Urie's sweet, sweet ass, but yeah. Um. Well. He drew on my arm, I woke up, I was confused, he blamed some kid beside me who was also sleeping, we laughed, and we became best friends. This is pretty much how all of my friendships started. I just get embarrassed a lot I guess.
It's almost Christmas break, which means that I can fangirl for a WHOLE WEEK without school work getting in the way. I've already ordered all the Christmas P!ATD merch I want, so I'm all set. I just want the rest of this week to be over.
