"Do you have ANYTHING nice in this God awful place?"
Elena heard, as she walked by a clothing store, in mid-town Milwaukee.
"Everything you sell is just dreadful! Come now Arthur. We will find a clothing store worthy of our appreciation. Let's go, sprinkles."
The woman picked up her diamond covered chihuahua, placing him in a small purse and handing him to Arthur.
She held out her foot, kicking Arthur in the leg, to remind him that he needed to put her shoes back on her."Jesus! You just can't find good help these days."
As he got the second shoe on, she kicked him in the gut.
" Come now."
Elena felt like taking a detour, on her long and boring route to self discovery. She glided into the clothing store, purposefully bumping into the woman so hard that she flew into the clothing rack behind her, landing on her ass.
"Oh dear. I do apologize. I meant for you to land in the other one."
She ran over to the bitchy woman, and told her
"Get up, and we will try this again."
She did what she was told, and Elena bumped her into the other rack.
Hearing a light crack, as the womans head smacked the pole in the center.
There it was.
Fresh blood.
"Much better."
She went over to help the woman up.
"Would you follow me please?"
And she did. She motioned for Arthur to stay behind, with the dog.
A few minutes later, she came back. Licking her lips, she looked over at Arthur and slung a new Loius Vuitton bag over her shoulder.
"Excuse me, Arthur? What was that women's name?"
"Laura Ellis."
"Wonderful. From now on, you will call me Laura Ellis. As if that other woman never existed. You understand?"
"Yes, Miss Ellis."
"Wonderful. Now, let's do some shopping. Oh!"
She looked back at the ladies and men in the store.
"Clean this up, and forget we were here. Comprende?"
"Yes ma'am."
Elena felt like a million bucks, walking down the street. Arthur walked up to a dark purple limousine, and opened the door for her to enter. She bowed her head, and obliged.
"Thank you, Arthur."
A block away, someone had almost made their way to her...
"Castiel... Of all the towns, in all the lands in all the worlds... and you end up in my lap. Ya know, if things get any easier for me I'll start thinkin' the big guy has a thing for me. Is he... ya know... seeing anyone?"
Lucifer smiled and winked at Castiel.
"Lucifer! What are you doing here? You should be in the cage. This is bad. Very bad. Wait... Do Sam and Dean know..."
"Oh pahleeze!! You think I'd waste my temporary freedom on them? No thanks. Speaking of, I really gotta head out. But it was great seeing you again."
"Lucifer! You know we will hunt you down until we find you again."
Before he was able to take a step to snap away, he turned quickly, looking eerily at Cas.
"Tsk tsk Cas. That sure sounds like a threat. I have never been good with threats, Cas. Brother. You know that. I'd really hate to send you to the dark oblivion. This time, not coming back. But... you're lucky I'm feeling generous today. I have somewhere to be."
"What's that supposed to..."
Lucifer snapped his fingers, leaving Cas standing there alone, with no recollection of the past 5 minutes with Lucifer.
"Pull over for a minute Arthur. I'd like to speak with this man on the corner."
Arthur nodded, as he pulled to the side of the road. They had spent alot of time and money shopping, and she was ready for dinner. As Elena opened the door, she winked at the man on the corner. He smiled, as he watched her scoot away from the door and tap on the seat for him to sit down.
He bent over and got in the limousine. Grinning from ear to ear.
"Do you have a name, sir? I saw you staring at my limousine. Could I help you with something?"
He smiled. "I'm lucifer. I've heard great things about you... very exciting things."
Elena cocked her head.
"I'm sorry, have we met?"
"Only in my dreams."
He politely responded.
"I'm not sure why, but I feel like I'm supposed to know you. Are you hungry? I was just about to find someone... I mean, some place to eat."
She caught herself. No need to scare the poor person away.
"Actually, I like your first thought. Anyone in mind?"
They spent the evening driving around, until Lucifer told her to park.
"Miss, Ellis? Is it?"
"Oh, me? Yes. Laura Ellis. But you can call me Elena."
He reached out for her hand and kissed it.
"It's enchanting to meet you. Miss Elena. Now. I have something I'd love love LOVE to show you."
He kept holding her hand, and swirled his finger around in the air like he was looking for something.
"Ah! I found just the right place for you. You will just be so thrilled!"
Lucifer snapped his fingers and they were in a basement club, downtown near New York. Everyone was wearing black, many people were dancing slow and very close. People in all corners in the darkness just making out.
"This place is called the "Warm Touch". It's a place for wanna be vampires come in Hope's to be bitten and turned. Do you like it?"
Elena looked around. Mesmerized.
"Depends. Any vampires around?"
"You mean... other than yourself?" Lucifer lifted an eyebrow.
"How did you know what I was?"
"I am Lucifer. I know all the evil that lurks. Now. Go have fun."
