THREE WEEKS LATER
You rushed into the room so fast that when you went to lock the door your fingers fumbled. "Come on," you hissed. "Yes!" You finally got the lock latches. You raced to your bag and pulled out the salt you brought. You started to line the windows and doors. You were just about to finish your demon case when two rogue hellhounds came into the picture. You dropped everything and ran. You were about to start your circle and call the winchesters until a sharp pain ripped across your stomach. You grabbed your stomach and looked down and saw no blood but the pain was intense. You instantly knew what was happening. You started to look for the hex bag but with every passing minute, the pain grew and spread to other parts of your body. You were coughing up blood. You stopped and pulled out your phone and tried to call Sam. Your attempt failed as you dropped the phone and fell to your knees. Your only other option was to send out a prayer for Cas, hoping he was near by to get to you. "Cas," you choked on some more blood. "Cas, I need you. Now. Please. Sunset Boulevard motel. Room 5. Cas, please. It's a hex bag." More blood. Your vision began to blur. You focused on calling out to Cas. You began to throw up blood and saw there were some sharp shards of something coming out. You threw up again and again. Blood ran down your chin and neck. The pain was too much. You started to tear up becusee this was your last case before heading back to the bunker. You couldn't go out like this, but the possibility of that coming true was getting closer. You threw up again and lost the ability to keep yourself on your knees. You slumped into the puddle of your blood feeling the sharp shards of glass and needles puncture your skin. You heard the door burst open. Things were being tossed around and soon you heard a muffled voice. A majority of the pain stopped and the need to throw up sharp objects stopped but, your body was still in pain. Soon you felt familiar hands tspin you over and becuase your vision was so blurred you could still make out the trenchcoat of Cas. You felt his hand touch your head and some of the pain left but you ended up cough and whimpering more. "I'm sorry," Cas's voice said. "This will need to take time." You felt yourself being lifted up and carried out and soon you lost consciousness.
❗DEAN POV❗
"So, have you heard from her?" Dean asked walking into the kitchen. He grabbed a few beers and handed on to Sam. Sam opened his and took a drink. "I'm guessing thata a no." Dean took a drink as well. "We talked this morning. She said she had one case to finish up and that it would be quick. Then she called a few hours ago and left message saying it's going to take longer." Sam pulled his phone out and dean could tell he was getting worried. "Where is she?" Dean asked. "Kansas City, small demon case." Sam shoved hisnphome back into his pocket and drank some more. "Slow down," dean took the beer from his brother. "You dont want to be wasted when she gets here." Sam nodded and wiped his face. Dean felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He pulled it out and saw it was Cas. "I cant shake that feeling that something bad has happened." Dean nodded understanding. "I'm sure shes fine, I gotta take this. I'll be right back." Dean walked to the library and answered the phone. "What up?" Dean asked. "Dean, I need you to see if the infirmary is good on healing herbs " Dean was confused. "Okay, what's the purpose?" Cas was silent for a few seconds. "YNs been injured really bad." Dean moved further away from the kitchen. "What do you mean? Like she was badly injured and you healed her? Or shes injured so bad you cant heal her in one touch." Cas took a second to respond which answered Dean's questions. "What the hell happened man?" Dean asked. "I dont know, I felt her praying for me and when I got there she was close to death laying in a puddle of her own blood. She was hexed and I destroyed the bag once I found it. My healing hurts her so she needs to be sedated in order for me to heal her." Dean lowered his phone and took a deep breath. There was no way he was going to tell Sam but he needed to. Dean rose the phone backup. "How far are you?" He asked looking back towards the kitchen. Dean could see part of Sam. He had his phone out and it looked like he was texting you. "About thirty minutes. I need everything ready. Sam knows how to get the spell ready to put YN under." Dean hung up and drewded the news he had to tell his brother. Dean made his way to the kitchen and Sam put his phone away. "Hey, who was that?" Sam asked. "That was cas," dean said. "But I need you to sit down for what I'm going to tell you. Its about YN." Sam's face went white and he slowly sat down at the table. If the room was quiet enough, you could probably hear his heart speeding up. "What about her?" Sam asked. "Is she okay?" Dean sat down as well and rubbed his face. "Cas found her in a motel room." Sam stood up and started to shake his head. "No," he said backing away. "No, shes not dead." Dean got up too. "Relax, of course shes not dead. But she isnt doing too hot either." sam stopped and started at his brother. "Cas found her, she was hexed and injured pretty bad from it to the point Cas is bringing her here to sedate her to heal her. You are the only one who can get that spell ready." Sam spun back around and made his way to the infirmary with dean trailing behind him. Sam began to pull things out and put them together. Once it was ready Sam pulled a book out just as Cas came in carrying you. From where dean stood, dean saw the color drain from his brothers face and drop the book. If the boys didnt know better, they would have thought you were dead. Cas gently set you down and you made a small weak whimper. That instantly snapped Sam back. He picked up the book and began to do the spell.
❗DEAN POV OVER❗You woke up the next day. There was still some pain but not near to what your felt before. You noticed you were in the bunker infirmary and remember everything that lead to you waking up. You sat up and felt some pain in your stomach. You sucked in a deep breath and exhaled. "Okay," you whispered to yourself. You slowly got up and began to walk with very little pain out of the infirmary. You were going to make your way to your bedroom, sam assured you it was still there. But you smelled something incredible. You turned in the direction of the kitchen and saw Sam throwing things into a giant soup pot. "Smells good," you said. Sam spun around and smiled the moment he saw you. "Its a stew. Jody sent me the recipe." You walk up to the chair Sam pulled out for you. "I cant wait for it." Then you noticed the time. "Is it really three in the afternoon?" Sam turned and saw the time too. "Yeah, you've been out for awhile. Cas and Dean should be back soon, so cas can do a proper heal." You nodded. "Where are they?" You asked. "Kansas City. Finding what demon and or witch did this to you. Do you need anything?" Sam got up and you asked for water. You didnt like the idea of people cleaning up your mess but it wasnt a mess. Your hunt went south and Cas and Dean were only finishing it. "Why didnt you call us to help?" Sam asked sitting down and giving you your water. You drank the whole thing and Sam got you more. "I was about to. When I got back to my motel room and had it salted up, I had my phone out ready to call. But...," your voice trailed off and you had flash backs of that night throwing up pins and needles and glass. The feeling of helplessness and dying alone, it made you shudder. "Well," sam took your hand. "All that matters is you're here now." You smiled and Sam began to lean closer until you heard the bunker doors open. "We finished it! It was a damn witch and demon working together. With two stolen slash rogue hellhounds. Crowley, took them back. But the demon and witch are both dead." Dean and Cas walked into the kitchen and saw you guys. "Hey hey, look at you! Up and about!" You smiled and got up and made a face and sucked in your breath. You sat back down and exhaled. "Are you okay?" Sam asked with worry in his voice. "I'm fine, I'm not fully at one hundred." Cas stepped around Dean and placed a hand on your head and instantly you felt his powers through your body and the pain disappeared. "You should be at one hundred." Cas said. "Thanks," you stood up and smiled. "It feels good to have my body back and with that, I'm going to take a shower." You walked behind Sam and ran your hand on his back. When you walked out of the kitchen. "Um, Sam, that was a hint or code for getting laid." Dean said. "Dean," cas's voice sounded confused. "I dont think she was giving a code or hint. She was simply stating she was showering." Dean was heard sighing. "You've been on this planet for how many years and you still have much to learn."
