Chapter 13: Force of nature

(Y/N) POV

Ok. I know that I said that Sero's match against Todoroki was gonna be short. I mean, c'mon. It's Mr. home supply store man Vs. Basically an avalanche with daddy issues.

So naturally you'd think the home supply man would win, right? But no. And I understand wanting to get something over with as fast as possible but...

...Isn't That Going a little overboard? I mean...

It's Sero. You don't need to do him like that.

Still. Todoroki left everyone in the arena other than me speechless and shivering. Hell, even Mic shut up to marvel at Todoroki. Only reason I'm not is because I was already unexplainably cold coming before the fight even started, I have fire to keep me warm (which is probably why everyone is subtly trying to get closer to me), and I've seen Todoroki do...Uh...that before. Back at that fight with him. Then again, the only thing I actually remember from that fight was being cold, and then blacking out. And then I won the thing.

Oooh, maybe I'll be able to fight him again!

: 'But can you really win against something like that?'

(Y/N): 'No idea, but that never

: 'And that's why your hand is still wrapped up in bandages.'

(Y/N): 'Shut up and stop sounding like a responsible person.'

I get up and leave the bleachers, heading down some hallway. I guess I ended up wandering around aimlessly again while discussing completely heroic things with the voice in my head because I eventually bump into a girl with Long green hair. Or maybe I should say, I bump into a girl with vines for hair.

(Y/N): "Sorry about that, My bad. Wait, aren't you the girl I'm fighting next round?"

Shiozaki: "Indeed."

She looks kinda nervous. Not on her face, her face looks very gentle and relaxed, but I can see a glint of nervousness in her eyes. I don't like that. I don't want her second guessing herself in the slightest. Not that I even know if she would do that, but hey. Might as well reassure her that I'm not gonna murder her or anything.

: 'This time.'

(Y/N): 'No. bad voice in my head that tells me to do things.'

(Y/N): "Well, whoever wins in the end, let's not let there be any ill will between us, Yeah?"

I put my hand out for a shake, and Shiozaki seemed a bit confused at my offer. I guess she expected me to trash talk or try and belittle her or something like that. She took my hand, and I could feel her trembling almost unnoticeably. Seems that she's still a bit nervous. Probably because of...Well, it's a plant versus a machete with an optional flame thrower attachment.
