§ Chapter 8 §

Zayn

"Zayn, wake up" I feel someone shake my shoulder.

I groan but open my eyes a little, squinting at the light thats in my eyes.

I rub my eyes and take in my surroundings.

White Walls

Hospital Bed

Heart Monitor

"Where am I?" I ask.

"Your in the hospital dear" A women, who I believe is Niall's mom, tells me.

"Why am I here?"

"Come with me and I'll tell you everything"

I just nod my head and stand up, almost falling if Niall's mom wasnt there to catch me, and walk out of the room.

When I walk out of the room, I see Theo in a girls arms and a guy right besides her. They both look at me when I came out of the room.

"Hi, you must be Zayn" The girl holding Theo said. "Im Denise, Theo's mom and Niall's sister-in-law and this is Greg, Niall's brother and Theo's dad" She points at the guy beside her.

"Oh my gosh! Denise, Greg, I am so sorry about Theo and Niall. This is all my fault, I shou-"

"Zayn, dear, its really fine. Its not your fault at all. Just, can you tell me what actually happened to Theo and Niall" Denise says.

"Well, with Theo, we were at my house and....." I explained everything to them.

"And thats how we ended up here" I finish.

Threw that whole 15 minutes, Denise gasp at some things, Greg chuckled a bit and Maura patted me on the back sometimes.

"Wait" I ask getting comfortable in the hospital chair. "Why did Niall callopse in my arms when he was running to me?"

The three adults look at each other then back at me.

"You and Niall did just meet today, right?" Maura asked.

"Yeah, today at lunch. Why?" I asked confused.

"Niall hasn't told him" Maura said to Greg and Denise.

"Tell me what?" I instantly stand up from my chair.

"Niall ha-"

"Guys?" I turn my head to the room and see Niall pick up his head.

"Niall!" I run in and hug him the best I could.

"Z-Zayn what are you doing here?" Niall hugs me back.

"Of course I couldn't leave you here" I pull away. "I needed to stay here for you"

Niall smiles, showing off his his teeth and his beautiful smile. I love his smile, it even makes me want to smile every time.

"Wait - why am I here again?" Niall asks.

"You were running to me and you like, lost all oxygen and collapsed, but I caught you before you could hit the ground" I tell him.

"Thank you so much Zayn" Niall pulls me into another hug.

"Your welcome Niall" I smile while I put my head in the crook of his neck.

Niall just laughs and pulls away, "I'm ticklish there"

Before I could say anything, a doctor walks in.

"Hello Mr. Horan" The doctor says.

"Hi doc" Niall says.
