Hold on people, the reason it's going into two parts is because this is the event where we meet the rest of the countries. I case you did not read the description of this story, this is a HUMAN AU. Meaning there is no country as human representation. Got it? Okay... Sorry for the short chapter in advance. I'm kinda dealing with writer's block but that's okay.
Edit: There are two parts but I named them different things now haha.
~Luni's Point of View~~
"Don't worry guys! I'll pay since I got to pick the place. You can wait for me." I called out to the others. They just simply nodded before heading out. As I was getting my cash ready, I noticed the waiter from earlier coming closer while slightly trembling. That was wrong of me to do back there, though you should not talk badly about people.
'I'll apologize to him.' I though, feeling pangs of guilt course through my gut. Francis inched closer to me as if I were a lion, ready to pounce on it's next meal.
"Thank you." I said to the waiter I had accidentally scared earlier. The blonde man gulped and nodded, which made me frown. "Hey look...I'm sorry about that. We got off on the wrong foot, I'm really protective of my friends, and their friends ya know?" I extended my hand for him to shake. "I'm Luni Hycanith. Normally I'm nicer." I giggled a bit. Francis looked down at my hand cautiously before shaking it lightly.
"Oui, you know already, I am Francis, Francis Bonnefoy." He said, with a less anxious tone. After we exchanged handshakes I paid him for the food. Francis quickly turned around before I tapped his shoulder. "Before you go, I wanted to know if I could make it up to you. The guilt is still hurting me. " I laughed playfully, normally I don't threaten people since it's pretty not cool.
His slightly anxious smile turned into a smirk. "Onhonhonhon, you could 'ave repayed me more at my 'ouse." Francis suggestively stared at me. I thought he was innocent, guess that was so very wrong.
"Never mind..." I said, slightly disgusted. "But here is my number, I since you are acquainted with Ivan, I bet we can meet some of his friends tomorrow. How about five? My friends, Emily and Y/N get off at four. We could see you guys at five." Francis shoved the piece of paper into his pocket. "I'll 'ave to let 'im know and invite others. 'y friends and I are 'ere for some time due to business anyway." The blonde man said with a nod and waved goodbye. Returning the wave, I headed out of the building.
"What took you so long!?" Y/N half shouted, remembering we were still in public. "Chill out, N/N.. You just want to see Ivan again." Emi sighed to the other female. Her E/C eyes glared at Emi in response. (Tiny A/N: am I the only one who hates when authors use 'orbs?')
I cleared my throat to gain their attention, though Kat and Iva were listening the whole time. " Well I was apologizing to Francis like a decent person, AND speaking of 'seeing Ivan again,' we are meeting Francis and his friends tomorrow. He said he'd tell me where we were meeting soon. Be aware that Ivan is one of his friends- er acquaintances." I explained. For a second, I saw Y/N's eyes flicker in excitement at the mention at Ivan's name.
'Well no shit, Emi is not kidding when she says Y/N likes him.'
Our friend group exchanged hugs and split to our transportation groups. Except me, because I could just walk home. Though Iva and Kat got into a car, as well as Emi and Y/N.
~Back to your pov because you're special~
Emi unlocked our apartment and we stepped inside with delight. Nothing can beat coming home after an event. Events were so tiring. Slipping off my shoes, I ran to my room and jumped on my bed, landing face first in the pillows. I heard Emi chuckle behind me "Damn, you really do have low energy." Letting out a muffled groan, I closed my eyes. "I don't have unlimited energy, Emi." Her laughing continues and I can just imagine her smiling face at how lazy I am.
"Have you been doing you college assignments though?" Emi asked. I finally sat up and nodded at the girl who now showed up in my room. She sipped on her coke that she must have gotten from the fridge. "Yeah, nobody sees me though. Honestly becoming a botanist is way more than just recognizing plants." I sighed, Emi shot me a 'duh' look. (well sorry, you're gonna be a botanist...Not whatever you wanted to be-)
"Atleast I like this subject, and I'm good at it." I sighed tiredly, slumping in my chair with exhaust. "Time to get started on this assignment. Never knew I'd have to do it at this hour. And that means you probably need to head on your work." Emi sighed with a defeated look. "Yeah, good point." My friend whipped out the door into her own room.
"She could have atleast shut the door..."
HEY Y'ALL, So I ended the poll AAANNNDD... 1st person won! So that's how I'm going to write this story with occasional point of view chages. Don't like this story? Don't read it. Simple.
