"Damon, it's a Friday night. You should be out at bar or something, you should be doing something, not helping me move boxes." Damon put down a box and looked at the brunette. "This is doing something, plus you'll be able to move faster with me helping you." "Hey, I have fought off witches and vampires, I can handle some heavy lifting." Ramona said putting down another box.
"I know you can, that's why I trust you'll make the right decision." Damon said giving her a smirk. "Damon, I'm staying in Georgia. I found a house a couple towns over, not everything is set in stone yet, but I've made my decision."
"Look, I'll let it go, but I'm just saying I might have to come over a bug you more."Damon smiled at Ramona. "Oh right, like you don't already do that enough, you might as well pay half the rent." They both laughed. Then, they both turned their heads when a box fell from the stairs.
"Oops." Both the twins said in unison at the top of the stairs. "Sorry momma, we were only trying to help you move your boxes, and we used our magic!" Henry said proudly as Rosie shook her head agreeing. Ramona walked over to the box, she knew exactly what was inside of it, she picked it up. "Did we break anything? If we did we'll glue everything for you." Rosie said to her mother.
Ramona instantly shook her head while still looking at the box in her hand. "Um, no, no it's fine, it was a mistake I'm sure the box is okay." When Ramona said that Damon knew something was off, she tried playing it off for the kids but Damon could tell that something important was in that box.
"You know what I just realized? I promised you two ice cream, and since you guys have been good helpers why don't we go get some now?" Damon said as he smiled at the twins. They both nodded quickly and ran to the door to get their shoes on. "Ramona come on, it's on me." Damon said to the brunette who was still looking at the box. "Hey you're not mad at them for dropping that are you? I mean what's even in it?"
"No, no I could never be mad at them. It's just been so long since I've seen this box. I haven't opened it since I left mystic falls." Damon nodded. "So, you up for some ice cream?" He smiled gently at her. "Why don't you just take the kids, they love being with you, especially because you spoil them." Damon laughed. "Well, you're not wrong but, you're sure Mona?" He asked her as she shook her head.
"Yes, I'll be fine. Just remember they have bedtime at nine o'clock." "Hah, bedtime that's funny." He said while Rosie took his hand dragging him out the door. "Cmon, Damon hurry, I want some mint chocolate chip!" "Damon, nine o'clock I'm serious!" She yelled but he was already out the door.
Ramona picked up the box. She forgot mostly what was even in the box. She opened it up from the top, right away she saw scattered pieces of glass from the picture frames. On top was a picture of her and Angie. They were wearing their aprons posing in a booth at Donna's . Ramona laughed because Angie had her eyes closed but she was still smiling. Kai wasn't the only reason she didn't want to go back to mystic falls. She didn't know what she would say to Angie.
