Brielle was looking out the window as the plane landed. She was home. Home. She then realized she didn't have a home. A home is where you feel happy and loved and safe. She just had a house. A place that she sleeps and lives with no happiness. That was what she had. Nothing more.

The passengers were getting their belongings together as they walked out of the plane. Brielle waited for some space to clear up before she stood from her seat. She walked out of the plane and straight out of the airport. She didn't have any belongings. She was kidnapped. She needed to get to her house. She needed to talk to her family. She needed answers.

Brielle called for a taxi and it pulled over. She walked forward, opened the door, and climbed inside. She sat down and made sure she was okay before closing the door. The driver turned back and looked at her.

"Where t- you look familiar," the driver said with a look of confusion on his face.

"Um I'd like to go home please," Brielle whispered, her voice wavering.

"Of course hun, um I just need an address."

"Yeah it's-"

"Have we met before?" the driver interrupted.

"You know, I think I'll just walk," Brielle said, reaching for the door handle.

"No I'm sorry. Where would you like to go?"

Brielle sat down and gave him the address for the grocery store near her house. There was no way she was comfortable enough to give him her address after that encounter. The driver pulled away from the curb and joined the rest of the cars on the road.

"What's your name?" Brielle asked out of curiosity.

"Andrew and what's your name?"

Andrew was focused on the road, but Brielle wasn't sure if she wanted to tell him her real name. She believes that they've never met before because she doesn't recall an Andrew.

"Um I'm Brielle," she said, hoping he wasn't paying attention.

Andrew stayed silent for a couple minutes, navigating the road. Brielle sighed in relief when Andrew didn't say anything. She assumed he didn't hear her and she couldn't be happier. Andrew took some turns and stopped when necessary. They were slowly getting closer to the grocery store.

"You're the girl aren't you?" Andrew asked suddenly.

"The . . . girl?" Brielle asked, confused.

"Oh my gosh! You are. That's where I recognize you." Andrew was basically talking to himself at this point.

"Where?" Brielle asked.

"The news. You got kidnapped, didn't you?"

"I-I'm on the news?" Brielle's breathing started picking up pace.

"Yeah your family reported you missing to the police and you've been gone for a while and it got serious, so they put you on the news."

Brielle tried to take deep breaths, not wanting to freak out over nothing. She was on the news. It's not a big deal. Her family was looking for her. That's a good thing.

"I would like to change my destination please," Brielle uttered.

"You okay?" Andrew asked, pulling over.

"Yes," Brielle answered, giving Andrew the address for her house.

Andrew then made a turn and headed in the direction of her house. About ten minutes later, Andrew pulled up at her house.

"How much do I owe you?" Brielle asked, reaching into her pocket.

"Don't worry about it. Just go be with your family," Andrew said, looking at Brielle.

Brielle took out fifty dollars and leaned forward, placing it in the passenger seat.

"Think of it as a tip."

With that said, Brielle opened her door and climbed out of the car. She closed the door behind her and stood on the sidewalk, looking up at her house. She took a deep breath and slowly started walking up to the door. She rang the doorbell, waiting anxiously for the door to open. After a minute, she heard footsteps. Brielle was looking at her feet, willing herself not to cry. The door opened. She heard a gasp. The first tear slid down her cheek as she slowly looked up. It was her mom. Her mom started sobbing as she pulled Brielle in, holding her close. Brielle heard Andrew drive away and she was grateful he made sure she got home okay. Soon, the rest of her family made their way to the front door, wondering what all the commotion was. Immediately they started crying when they saw Brielle in their mom's arms. Brielle was being passed around so everybody got to hug her. Everybody was in tears. They were sobbing.

Brielle didn't think they missed her at all, but here they were crying their eyes out. She was surprised.

"Call the police and tell them Brielle is home."
