Chapter 1.2: Another Encounter

I silently yawned at my seat. Mr. Thomas was still boring as ever. I think it comes with his age. He's probably the oldest professor in this school. He got a bad habit of scratching his balding white haired hair that
was neatly fixed with some kind of oldies gel that gave weird smell. All his movements were all in slow motion as he wrote to the wall. His subject, history was as boring as he was. And his lesson for today regarding the First World War was probably as old as he was.

It's so weird, I'm usually focused regardless how boring the subject was but for the past couple of days, my brain seemed to be somewhere else. I can't help but think about the girl named Andy. Her light long brown hair and her grey eyes. She had a perfect jawline and cute pointed nose.

Oh my goodness!

Why the hell am I thinking of her? She's a girl!

Maybe I'm just idolizing her. She looked so young but seemed so mature. She also didn't get angry when I spilled her coffee. Most people would have been agitated for that.

"Chelsea."

Looking back, even though only for a moment, I can't help but remember her lips. It was pink and so kissable. I wonder how soft it was.

"Chelsea!"

I can't help but sighed. Why am I thinking so much about her? Will I be able to see her again?

Hay...

"Chelsea!"

I was brought back to reality when I fell off my seat. "What the..." I looked up and saw my best friends, Lena and Rose, looking down at me. "Why did you push me?"

"We have been trying to get your attention since forever!" Lena exaggerated. "Class was over! And I'm hungry! Don't tell me you're thinking about that asshole again!"

"What? No!" I blurted out which earned me a raised brow. She held her hand to help me get up and I took it in an instant. "Honestly, I'm over him. It still hurts but you I'm moving on."

"Good! Now let's scram since I'm starving!"

Lena and Rose walked ahead of me. We met Rose during our freshmen year. She was a new transfer to our school. We instantly clicked.

We got our lunches and went towards our usual table where Lena and Rose's boyfriends were already sitting.

"Hey babe." Julian greeted Lena with a kiss. He's part of the football team with Kevin but prefers to hang out with us. He's not part of the typical jerk jock like my ex boyfriend.

"Hello my beautiful flower." Charles greeted Rose. He's part of the student council like me and he can be considered as one of the most decent guys in school. Rose was also part of the council. Their relationship blossomed last year when they were both assigned in the same project for the school fair.

"Hey Chelsea." Both guys greeted me. I usually dine in with Kevin ever since we got together but since we broke up, there's really no use in joining the jock's table. Besides, I never liked most of them. All they think about were sex, boost and party.

We ate in silence. Actually... I ate in silence while the four of them were all over each other. Even if my heart was bleeding at the sight, I'm still happy for them.

Lunch seemed longer than usual. I saw Kevin at the jocks table and he acted like nothing happened. As if he didn't broke my heart. Brook, the girl that I caught him with was sitting at his lap.

"The nerve of those people." Lena stated. She must have seemed my line of vision.

"Let them be Lena. As you said, he's not worth it."
