(Try to imagine all of this in the most dramatic way possible, it's funnier that way xD)

About 2 years ago I made the thing that make me proud of my art skills. In 2018, around a year after I got into Undertale, I had finally found out about AU's, something I didn't know existed until around then (or at least under stand)

I had even went as far as writing my own AU about the story about them on the surface, the start of my internet writing career, a book simply called "The Surface".

As 2017 went into 2018, and my art had consisted mainly of me drawing Undertale Characters and anime characters I drew very, very poorly (and for whatever reason a shirtless Bakugo, Deku, and Shoto harem-?), I found the Flowerfell song, which made me cry from how sweet the story was, and how beautiful the animation was, all the jaz.

And with my infinite childlike knowledge, i searched the internet, needing to draw the beautiful fox known as Flowerfell Frisk

And so, on October 21, 2018, I made the first drawing i was really proud of, and the first one I had ever dated (I couldn't get the date without getting the top out of frame so I do apologize)

With simply pens and composition paper, I drew what I believed to be a masterpiece. Not knowing how important a thicc neck was, and how wrinkles worked. Not gonna lie tho, this was the best piece of 2018

Now, today, nearly 2 years later when all hell has broken loose and I'm going insane, I decided to attempt to redraw this, something I have tried countless times, only to fail or have the paper destroyed

But not today

Now, with pens, crayons,  oil pastels, and markers, and two years of skill added, I have made something far better. Something I can truly say, I am proud of.

And, I even gave her, a neck.

I remember how long they both took, both being around 3 hours worth of time.

I can't believe I've come so far hhhhhhhhh I'm so proud of past me.

And with the magic of time and well used christmas presents, I give you better art.

I like how over time i learned, like what kinda paper is best and what brand of pens do and don't work well xD

And I stopped using only colored pencils and moved on to use a variety of materials like

Hhhhhhhhhh

#Noregrets

i never know how to end these, but I am curious. Whem you, deaf reader, look back to your old art and compare it to your art of recent, can you see how you've changed and improved, how far you've come, how the littlest of things stayed throughout all this time? I'm super curious, so please do tell me in the comments!

Welp, ima go get some sleep, cya later!
