A/N
So this chapter is sorta over the place (and short). I was having one of my days where I felt high even though I've never done drugs. Also I didn't realize this but if this was not a Bill x Reader Stan would probably be a lover. Well that's all for now enjoy the story 😊.

I sat down in my room with a bottle of whiskey by my side. I just wanted to feel numb, I wanted to forget everything again. The image of Stan was still in my mind, he was my bird buddy.
'First my dad' I pour the rest of the whiskey into my cup
'Then my mom' I drank in all in one go leaving me with the burning feeling all the way down my throat
'And now Stan'
'Why'
I threw the bottle across the room with all my strength and started to cry.
I only knew him for two months but he was the best friend I could ever ask for.
There was a knock on my door, I couldn't even pick my body up enough to answer it.
"Hey, I'm gonna come in." Bens voice said from the other end of the door.
"What do you want?" I asked him obviously drunk
"I heard you from my room. Listen I know Stan was your best friend, and right now you're grieving, that's why I'm here." He tells me
I smile at him and move over a bit so he can sit down.
"Thanks Ben." I replied
"I remembered the guy not even five hours ago and it feels like I lost a part of me." I confessed
"I didn't even say goodbye to him properly. I just left, I left all you guys here in this shit hole. How could I have done that?" I asked him
"You were young you lived in a horrible house and got the chance to restart. Anyone would have taken it." He reassured me rubbing my back.
"Stan loved you, not in a romantic way but he was always protective of you that summer and even after he would look at the classroom doors like he was waiting for you to walk through them." Ben told me making me feel better
"Why are you so nice to me right now? We barely talked as kids. And one of the only times we did talk was when I saw you glancing in Bevs room." I asked him
"Because even if we didn't talk that much you're still one of my friends. And I will wait till morning if it means you feel better." He says giving me a side hug
"Thanks, you're a great guy." I tell him slipping into sleep
"Let's get you into bed." He helps me then closes my door and returns to his room for the night.
