(Forgot to edit something)
I walked around the town looking for a place that felt familiar to me. It was to no avail until I saw a cliff. At the bottom of the cliff was water.
"The quarry." I say to myself filling up with anxiety from the water billow.
My eyes were filled with tears and my lip was quivering. My mom and I had gotten into a heated argument and I couldn't handle it anymore, so I ran. I fiddled with my lighter and read the engraving on it trying to remember something joyful about the past. I just wished my dad was here right now; to give his weird advice or to tell me a horrible dad joke. I picked up a rock and threw it into the quarry with rage. I continued to do that until I let everything out and fell to my knees sobbing.
"Why did you have to die?" I asked looking up at the sky
"What did I do dad? What did I do?"
"WHAT DID I FUCKING DO!!" I screamed as hot tears fell onto the floor.
I grabbed more rocks and chucked them until it felt like I was gonna collapse from a lack of air but I stayed on my feet letting out sobs into the total nothingness of the world.
"You made him drive." I distorted voice from behind me said
I quickly turned and almost fell into the quarry when I saw IT standing there silently. I rubbed my eyes and saw nothing, I sat there for a couple more second wondering what the hell just happened but then a hand grabbed onto mine and attempted to pull me into the quarry. I screamed and struggled to stay on the cliff, eventually he let go and I ran away not looking back cause I knew that if I did.
I wouldn't survive.

I set my bag on the ground and lied down letting the sun shine on my skin. A glistening object then caught my eye almost blinding me. I looked over to see something metallic buried halfway in the dirt. I walked over and picked up a dirty metal lighter with a hand made engraving on it.

You're a lover not a loser. Remember that.

"I'll always like you"

"Always and forever babe."

A light blush came to my cheeks as my memory of my first kiss came back. I put the lighter into my bag and continued to smile until i heard the most familiar voice that made me shoot up in fear.

"Y/n" A distorted voice says
I looked behind me to see my mom. My real mom.
"M-m-mom"
"It was all your fault you know. Your father died cause of you. And now your friends are gonna die because of you." She tells me grinning with glee as maggots come out of from her mouth.
Her hair was barely there and her skin was a pale grey-ish blue. Her eyes were on me as her mouth was pilled into a devilish smile.

"It's all your fault." She repeats
I took a step back which caused her to snap
"ITS ALL YOUR FAULT!" She lunged towards me
I stepped backwards again and felt myself falling until I landed in water. I would have swam away but whenever I touch a body of water I basically go into shock.

Everyone's gonna forget about you again

Who would want to remember you

You're nothing

You're useless

I was trying desperately to swim up but it was like my head was being pushed further down. I tried to remember things that could push me but nothing came. I could feel myself wanting to gasp for air, moments from the quarry during the summer of 89 flashes through my head then it was almost like everything stopped and I quickly swam back up to the surface. When i came up I took deep breaths. I then remembered the thing that made me fall, I looked around only to see nothing. I sighed and began to head back for my stuff.
I hurried back to the hotel and saw Ben and Bev on the stairs talking. I caught their attention by pushing past them to get to my room.
"Y/n what the hell happened?" Ben asked me
I didn't answer and continued my way to my room. I packed my things up in my bag and headed towards my bathroom. When I got in there I saw my reflection, my entire outfit was soaked, my hair was like a wet rats nest. I opened the mirror to get some Tylenol from the cabinet and when I closed it again I found a cut on the top of my wrist. I examined it and to my horror more begun to appear all down my wrists bleeding all over me. I screamed and went to run out of the bathroom but ran into someone else instead.
"H-hey are you o-okay?" Bills voice asked
I looked at my wrists and saw that the cuts were gone.
"Yeah I'm. I'm fine." I tell him not meeting his eyes
"What happened?" He asked me still not letting me go
I looked at him confused until I realize that I'm still soaked
"I just fell into the quarry." I say hiding the fact that I got chased by my mother's corpse.
"I found something though." I say leaving his arms and making my way to my purse.
I retrieved the lighter and placed it in his hands. His face heated up a little which caused me to chuckle.
"I thought I lost this." He said to himself barely above a whisper.
"Well it turns out that this little thing is my token." I say as I take it back and begin to fiddle with it.
"Something happened when you found it. Right?" He asked me
I raised my eyebrow until he motioned to the fact I was dripping water where ever I stepped.
"I saw my mom. But she was dead." I began
"Her face was still decomposing and each time she opened her mouth maggots fell. She ran for me and I fell." I told him not noticing that I was shaking with fear.
He put his hand under my chin and made me look at him.
"Y-y-you're okay now." He reassured me
I felt a tear slip down my cheek. He pulled me into a comforting embrace and just let me cry.
"It was my fault." I tell him as more tears fell
"What do you mean?" He asked me
"My father, he went to pick me up cause I didn't want to be at my grandmas. But the roads were wet from the rain and he...he" I took a deep breath and tried to continue
"His car crashed into the lake. They said he made it out but drowned before he got to the surface. It was my fault." I cried into Bills chest
He stroked my hair and spoke in a quiet voice.
"It's not your f-f-fault. You d-d-don't have to put yourself that guilt." He told me
I looked at him and smiled. Wiping my tears on my sleeve I started to laugh.
"I got your shirt wet." I laughed
He chuckled and ran his hand through his hair.
"It's f-fine. I'll let you change." He says closing the door.
I walked out of the bathroom and change into jeans. Just as I took off my shirt a hand was put over my mouth and a knife was held to my neck.
"Well hello slut." A males voice said
My mind picked up who it was immediately.
Henry Bowers
"You know" he begun as he trailed the knife down my chest.
"I always thought you could get any bigger." He says lightly dragging the tip of the blade across my bra.
I elbowed him in stomach causing him to let go of me. I grabbed the lamp and tossed it at him. The lamp shattered on his head making him flee from my bedroom. I knew he would do something else so I quickly put on a shirt but tripped as I was putting on my shoes causing me to get a shard of the broken lamp in my hand. I let in a sharp inhale and was about to pull it out when I heard Beverly scream. I rushed out of the room and saw Eddie leaning on the wall with blood running down his cheek.
"Bowers is in my room." He tells us calmly.
