"Yes, I am," he said without hesitation.
My heart got sunken deep that I think I couldn't find myself breathing anymore. I got nearly passed out because of crying in front of him.
This is so unbelievable, OHHH GOD! I'm feeling my face is covered with full of embarrassment, this isn't happening right now with me soaking in his very coffee and all I could say is "mmmmhhmm"
I do know how to react or what to say, so I just took all my books that I planned on buying and just walk past through him, without acknowledging anything, like nothing happened.
I could literally read his face with full confusion right now.
He probably thinking that I'm crazy or something. I'm never coming to this bookstore anymore, that's it.
"Hey, wait" I heard as I was nervously getting myself to the book counter. I let the coffee spilled books sit on the counter table.
The girl with blonde hair in the counter is just looking at me so pissed or shocked, I can't decide, but not definitely a good feeling. "I think you have to buy these books anyhow, we don't refund them" she assured.
"Yeah, I'm buying it," I said as she nodded and started to click in the bills.
"There you are, you can't just leave me there," a voice said approaching.
I had these same feelings as before which is reaching my lungs and directly flowing through my neck and getting straight to my brain.
"What you aspect me to do?" I said without even looking at him. You couldn't say how embarrassed is I am at the moment.
The blonde girl is just watching us both as she is puzzled as I am right now.
He stayed quiet as the blonde girl billing the books.
"Just make it quickly can you?" I rushed her. She nodded but definitely pissed at me for some reason.
"I can pay for the books," he said, suddenly. "What?" I said puzzled, still.
"You and your books are soaking in coffee because of me, so, I could pay for the books as a token of apology, maybe"
"OH no! There is no need for that" "I should've been more careful, it's partially my fault too, so, no need for that"
"An autograph or a photo maybe," he said after a pause. "What, no. why would I want that?""You said yourself. I'm a singer."
"Yea, I did but I'm not longing for autograph or selfies"
"You're done, mam," said the blonde girl interfering with the awkward conversation.
"Thanks," I said as paying the money for the books and started to walk as fast as possible and he said again "Maybe a coffee for a coffee?"
"You don't give up don't you?" as I turned towards him. He smiled and said "I'm feeling guilty that I did this to you"
"Thank you but no thank you" I smiled and continued "And I'm not taking any more coffee today," said as I scanned myself from top to bottom.
"Some other time, coffee guy, if....and only if I ever get the chance to meet you again"
He smiled widely and said "Deal"
"Only if, remember that," I said as I pulled the door wide open and started walking. I had a glimpse of him watching straight at me as I passed.
Ian's POV
What just even happened? I never seen someone like her before.
Like what is up with her?
She is quite rude I will undeniably admit that but she's interestingly attractive.
Like seriously, I never seen someone like her at all.
One moment she was passing out and crying, then the next she was grabbing a whole lot of books and getting herself all soaked in coffee and the best part is, she is not even worried about her but the books.
Who is she? She knew me that I'm famous but didn't freak out or scream as all usual fans do.
Moreover, she rejects my offers of the idea of me giving an autograph and a photo, that's ridiculous. I'm hurt not in a bad way but I like it.
"What's up with that girl?" the blonde cashier asked.
"I can't say but....she is different" I released a smile unknowingly.
"I hope she'll come around" said out of curious and excitement.
