chapter 4

   "he is here "I heard a voice say. 

   I woke up in an unfamiliar place, it looks like a garden, but the flowers looks dry and dead.

  " he is here" I heard the voice again. Who is here?. I wonder where this voice is coming from.

  "who is here " I asked . There was a pause and complete silence until the voice spoke again

"your beloved "

My what!! , who ever this is, is definitely out of his or her mind.

  "I don't have a beloved " I said

" you do ,but you don't know. He wears your wing on his neck, but only by a true love tears shall it be yours" the voice said.   

What is it talking about.

Briiiiiiiiii.......

    My eyes snapped open by the sound of my alarm. I look around me and sighed in relief when I see that I am in my room in the castle. This means that it was only dream  .thank God.

      I stood up and headed for the bathroom, I took my bath and brushed my teeth. I tied my hair in a ponytail, and wore the only cloth in my wardrobe ,which was my work clothes.

  I think this garden is my favorite place in world . Its so beautiful, it has different kinds of flowers and so many butterflies,  I wish I could stay hear for ever.

   You can't stay here, fairy remember it belongs to the king . My brain said, I guess   .
       

    Shaking my head ,I picked up the watering, and began to water flowers.

"they are beautiful ,aren't they? " a feminine voice said from behind me.

I look behind me surprised that someone entered the garden without me even noticing. I stared at the girl behind me, she looks to be my age but a little bit younger. I smiled at her , before saying;

  " yeah they are really pretty. Uh...do you work here," I asked curiously

  "oh... Yeah, but I work in the kitchen with Mrs odet; the head chef" she said, cheerfully .

" you must be new, I have never seen you  here before " she said staring intently at me

   " yeah,  I was employed yesterday " I said politely

" ohh ..that means you've met the king" staring at me wide eyed.

  "uh...no,  I was employed by his assistant " I said

" mason" she still staring wide eyes at me, which is creepy.

"I think, I don't know his name but he had blue eyes and blonde hair " I said trying to remember the guy . She squealed like a high school girl smiling widely at me.

" that's mason, he is so handsome, I wish I could have his babies " she said dreamily. O.. Kay this is just getting weird.

  " I think"i said unsure of what to say.      
"you do know he is vampire right " I asked her.

"yeah, I know.. So" she said nonchalantly

" so he could harm you" I said, staring at her like she has two heads

" he can't, because I am a vampire too" she said, opening her mouth to show me her fangs. I stared at her shocked. If she is a vampire, then why is she working.

   " you are a vampire " I asked, still shocked. She nodded

"then why are you working, I thought this is supposed to be a vampire castle, you know ; where humans work and vampires feed on them when the are thirsty or hungry. " I exclaimed. Maybe I read to much novels. She laughed ,shaking her head at me.

" gosh... You are funny. But you were right in some part of what you said,  this is not just a vampire castle, it the king's castle, his home. Only family and close relatives stay here" she said

" but yesterday, there was so many people here" I asked confused, because yesterday the castle was packed.

" oh, that's because it was the kings birthday, which he was not there most of the time " she explained. I nodded in understanding.

  "so, vampires work here too" I asked

" oh.. no, we don't only humans " she replied

"but you are a vampire " I said

  "oh.., I am being punished because my stupid brother, found out that I slept with his bestie and got mad and shit broke out. I mean can't he see that we are in love " she exclaimed. I giggle at her expression .

"my name is fairy and I think we would be great friends " I said smiling at her. At least I get to tell someone here my  name.

    "my name is Shannon and I know you are not human . And you have a weird name " she said, I stared at her shocked how does she know that.

"how do you know " I asked

  "because when you said 'humans work and vampires feed on them',  you said 'them' not 'us'. And you don't smell like a human" .

" well, that's pretty observant of you" I muttered
"please don't tell anyone "I said Worriedly

"relax I won't,  and besides I got no one to tell " she said grinning.

"thanks " I said, 

"oh shoot,  I almost forgot to tell you that the king has appointed you as his room cleaner" she said . And I dropped my watering can, staring dumbfounded at her.

" what.... how...h.. He doesn't even know me" I said panicky

"I don't how he knows, but mason said I should tell you. Any way I've got to go see you later flare" with she walked away leaving me in shock

  Oh God what have my life become.
