Danny and I were celebrating Christmas with the Matthews this year. I was slightly down knowing that it was our first Christmas without Mom, but I was coping.
"Ready to go?" Danny questioned
"Yeah" I smiled grabbing my phone as we walked out.
"Your favourite people" I buzzed the intercom
"Come on up" Riley's voice commented buzzing us in. We walked up and into the apartment where Topanga was talking to Cory.
"Honey, this is the first year hosting the holidays. Is your mom gonna go easy on me?" She asked
"You want comfort or truth?" Cory asked
"Comfort" Topanga replied
"It's gonna be hideous" Cory said
"She wanted Comfort, Cory" Danny laughed
sitting on the couch. Cory Hugged Topanga
"It's gonna be hideous" Cory repeated
"its Maya first time with us i need the holiday to go good for her" Riley said
"What about us?" I asked
"I want the holidays to be good for you guys" topanga smiled
"Well i need the holiday to be good for your mother" Cory said
"Liar" Topanga said
"Liar" Cory repeated pointing at himself "I need the holidays to be good for Shawn! Shawn's coming!!" The intercoms buzzed
"Shawn?"
"Nope, Maya" Maya announced "what's the matter? Boyfriend not here yet?"
"He's not my boyfriend" Cory pouted
"So what are we going to do with this Cory and Shawn 4-eva ornament" Topanga asked
"That goes right here in front of the Cory and Topanga wedding ornament" Cory said
"My whole life" Topanga said "wanna help with dessert?"
"Yesss" I laughed. I love decorating cupcakes.
"I don't think he even exists" Maya said
walking in
"He's real Maya, I've known him my whole life" Cory argued
"Your fun to mess with" Maya said
"Can I decorate them however I want?" I asked Topanga
"Yeah, I have some icing sugar in the cupboard there" Topanga said. Auggie and I then started to make icing sugar. The speaker box buzzed again.
"Shawn?" Cory asked
"No it's your parents" Alan, Cory's Dad replied
"Rats" Cory whispered
"Let me explain how a speaker box works" Alan said
"Alan, these holidays are important to me, how much of a fiasco is this going to be?" Amy, Cory's Mom, asked
"Let me explain how a speaker box works" Alan repeated
"Hideous already" Cory announced
"How about I throw this pot at you?" Topanga asked. Cory turned to his ornament and started talking to to it. Topanga three the pot at him but he caught it.
The door bell rang and Auggie ran to answer it
"Grandma, grandpa" he yelled
"Auggie" they smiled
