"thank you so much for bringing them back safely! i thought i would never see them again.." yangyang said with the biggest smile daeun had ever seen. the little boy sat on her palm as they talk together.
she smiles softly. daeun was glad they were back seeing them all so happy in a place where they really should be. "of course! they belong here and not in my room." she chuckles.
felix was still quite shocked though on how all of what he was seeing was real. so many tiny people running around with their tiny houses on a tree.
daeun placed yangyang back on his house and stopped for a moment to look at all of them.
they were really happy they were back with their friends who they didn't see for such a long time. it was hard to let them go, but she had to. they were safer here and this is where they belong and not some random girl's house.
the friendship they had was different. the boys truly made her life alot better.
it was time to let them go.
"guys..." she trailed off, grabbing all of the boy's attention to her.
and so she started.
"it's been really fun with you guys. but, i'll have to leave you here for good now. this is where you all should be and not in my house. it is sad that i am all alone now but i understand. you guys should be safe and hidden away from everyone. thank you for the fun we had guys, i really appreciate each and everyone of y'all." daeun said in one long breath she didn't notice a tear fall from her eye. it's gonna be different without them.
taeyong noticed first and couldn't help but pout. he jumped on her shoulder and side hugged her cheek. "don't cry daeunnie..you took care of us really well and we appreciate it so much. we will miss being with you all the time!"
the girl took taeyong from her shoulder and held him on her palm, "of course i'll still visit you guys. just, not too much since its very far from where i live."
and before she knew it, a bunch of them had already snuggled against her hands, reassuring her it was okay and that they'll miss her too.
"goodbye for now guys!" daeun bid her farewells and waved at every each of them.
donghyuck was crying while waving back. "b-bye daeun.." he choked out while mark was beside him patting his back.
she took one last look at the 21 boys before finally leaving the forest behind.
