The story of the boy and girl who lived, they took on You-Know-Who head-on and emerged victoriously. However, finishing their schooling caused them to move in with some relatives in Forks Washington.
I pushed open the door and quickly got inside. "Hi Charlie, the Cullens want us to go to baseball with them and Bells. You mind?" He looked at us and smiled, "Of course. I'm glad yall are making friends." "Thank you so much. Sam Uley will be here in like 5 minutes to get Anna, can you watch till her until he gets here if I'm already gone?" "Of course sweety." I kissed his cheek, "Thank you," Harry and I chorused before running upstairs to get dressed. Harry threw me my work out clothes and threw on a muscle tee and some shorts, both Nike. I threw on my workout clothes before putting my wand in my pocket and making sure Anna's bag was packed.

Harry and I walked downstairs to see Charlie holding his shotgun hoping to intimidate Edward. "We're just going to be playing baseball. We invited the twins and I doubt that they would let anything happen to their godsister." He dubbed him ok and I smirked. "Don't worry Charlie, he so much as looks at her wrong and I'll set Pais and I will set him straight." I smiled at Harry before nodding. A knock came to the door and I grabbed Anna's diaper bag. I opened the door to reveal the buffed out Sam Uley. "Hey, Sam." He gave a boyish smile before saying, "Hey, Paisly," he looked over my shoulder and said a little louder, "Hey, Harry!" A loud voice came from inside the house, "Hey, Sammy!" He rolled his eyes before reaching out to take the baby. I handed him Anna and her diaper bag, "We shouldn't be gone long but she takes her ear drops at 7, she gets fed again at 5:30. If I am really late please give her a bath at 7:30 with her lavender soap. Oh and-" "She's allergic to peanuts, spinach, and gourds." I smiled at her godfather and let out a sigh. "Thank you so much, tell Emily I said hi." "She looks just like him." "I know. I like that, a piece of him gets to live with me forever."
We said a few more things before parting with a "Love you". Finally, it was time to go and we all piled back into the Jeep. The drive was mostly silent, which I was okay with. We pulled up to a clearing to see the Cullen's walking around, getting ready to play their game. We got out the car and Esme came over to us, "We're glad you three are here, we need umpires." Emmet scoffed as he walked past, "She thinks we cheat." Esme gave a cheeky smile before repeating, "Oh, I know you cheat." I laughed at the pair before pulling out my wand and making three chairs appear. Harry looked out at the field and smiled, "How much you wanna bet on who?" "Ok, I will bet you 5 galleons that Edward catches the first throw even though it's a really far throw and Cowboy over there is gonna be the first to miss a hit out of the whole family." He smiled and laughed, "That's too specific. I bet you whatever is in my pocket plus 10 more galleons Edward misses the first throw and Emmet is the first to miss a hit." I smirked and crossed my legs.
Alice threw the ball and there was a loud crack that sounded like thunder. Bella let out a breathy laugh, "Now I see why they need the thunder." Edward took off through the forest and Bella said, "That's gotta be a home run." Esme appeared next to us and smirked, "I don't know, Edward is very fast." The trees rustled and Edward was in the middle of the field throwing the ball and Rosalie slid into home just milliseconds later. I smiled and nodded to Bella who smirked at Rosalie before saying, "You're out." She glared at Bella and slightly growled making me and Harry chuckle. I flicked my wand causing a big gust of air to push her into Emmet's arms who held her and said, "C'mon babe. It's just a game." Harry looked at me with wide eyes, "I didn't know you could do nonverbal magic." I smirked at him, "I can also do wandless magic." He just gaped at me while I watched Carlisle step up to the plate.
He sent a wink at Esme while swinging the bat in his hands. I rolled my eyes, "They're so cute." I said with a smile. He hit the ball and Emmet ran up the tree and tossed it, making the older man out. Jasper came up to bat and began to swing it while winking at me playfully. I rolled my eyes, "Cowboy's a showoff. Duley Noted." He glared at me playfully before getting ready to swing the bat. He missed the first shot causing Harry to curse loudly. "C'mon Jasper!" Everyone but Edward looked confused as Harry began to dig in his pockets. "You just lost him whatever is in his pockets and ten more galleons?" Carlisle let out a laugh as everyone else still looked confused, "Wizarding money. I'll explain it to you lot later. Back to the game, it's interesting."
Cowboy made the next shot and both Emmet and Edward jumped to get the ball. They collided with a loud slam and fell to the ground laughing. Edward flipped Emmet off before getting off the ground. Just as Rosalie began to run the bases, Alice froze, "STOP!" Kevin placed his middle finger on her temple and growled, "Three nomads. They were leaving until they heard us play." I began flipping through spells in my head before coming to terms with the fact that there was no way to change our appearance or scent without a potion that was in my bag at home. Edward was muttering to Bella that he shouldn't have brought her with a few stray apologies to us. He moved her hair around as Rosalie made her way over, "As if that'll help! I can smell her from across the field!"
I grabbed Harry's free hand in mine tightly as we gripped our wands. Three more cold ones stood not far away, with blood-red eyes. The one in the middle held up the ball that had been swatted into the woods, "I believe this is yours." Carlisle gripped onto Esme and forced a smile, "Thank you." "Could you use three more players?" "Of course," Carlisle said being polite. "I am Laurent, and this is James," he pointed to the blonde male, "and Victoria," he pointed to the girl with firey blonde hair. "Would you like to bat first?" Carlisle tossed him the bat which he caught skillfully. Edward watched them wearily as well as Harry and I.
The Cullens moved to the field while Laurent got ready to bat. Carlisle spoke again, "I'm afraid your hunting activity has caused us quite a bit of trouble." "Our apologies. We did not realize that the territory had been claimed." "Yes, we maintain a permanent residence nearby." They looked surprised but Victoria spoke up as Harry and I stiffly sat down. "The humans were tracking us but we lead them east." Jasper pitched the ball which Laurent hit with a crack. Alice was up the tree in a second and the ball slammed into her hand. Laurent was hot but James smiled. He hit the ball and began to run the bases. He ran past first, which Edward and Bella were on, making the wind change and freezing. He turned towards Bella, "You brought a snack."
Edward crouched in front of Bella bearing his teeth and letting a feral growl rip from his throat. James crouched and challenged him. In a flash, the Cullens and we were behind and Laurent and Victoria were behind James. Carlisle looked at the three, "The girl is with us." Laurent placed his hands in the air in surrender, "We will not harm her. Or your others behind you." "It'd be best if you wankers sod off," I said with fury in my voice. "We can see that the game is over. We will leave." James never took his eyes off Edward until Laurent placed his hand on his shoulder. His eyes flickered to mine, which held great fury. He let off a cold laugh before grabbing Victoria's waist and leaving.
Edward rushed Bella to the jeep while the other Cullens ran around. I nodded at Harry and we lifted our wands, "Accio Firebolts and invisibility cloaks!" Our brooms came swooshing in and we mounted them quickly, following the jeep with our invisibility cloaks on. Emmet plopped onto the jeep and I landed next to him. He jumped before I pulled off the cloak. Harry continued to ride as I wished I'd had. The bumpy ride almost made me fall off had Emmet not kept an arm around me. We soon made it to Charlies where Emmet explained the plan.
