It was 8:37 pm. Me and sammy were taking a nice little walk around the park. "So how have you been feeling lately?" asked sammy. Better that you're around. I caught myself. My eyes widened. My stomach tightened. I felt hot, and my head started throbbing. I meant- sammy cut me off. "I know what you mean." He chuckled. That didn't make me feel any better. I felt like I knew sammy a lot. I just wanted to be his. I made myself sound desperate. When ever I think of future relationships, I think of the times I got mistreated and cheated on. I closed my eyes and sighed. Sam looked down at me and smiled. I looked back up to him and asked him what he was smiling for. "No reason. I'm just in a good mood." He smiled again. I rolled my eyes, but with a smirk on my face. "So is there anywhere else you would like to go?" He smiled. I automatically thought about those flashbacks, I could just imagine that he would want me to say "back at your place" just so he could use me. Uhh, no. Not that I know of. I smiled quickly, and the smile faded away within two seconds. "I was thinking that-" my phone started ringing. I felt bad because sam was about to tell me something. What if he wanted to go on a date or something. I thought to myself. I quickly opened my purse and looked at my phone. "Smiths Hospital" was the caller I.D. Hello? I answered. "Hi, is this Hannah?" Yes, yes it is. Who am I speaking to? "This is smiths hospital, an accident has occurred and we need you to get down here ASAP." My stomach tightened. I felt the stress. My heart was pounding. I could even feel it in my head. I hate these kind of situations. They worry me to death. Who is injured? I asked. "Please just get here." My heart beated fast. It pounded. My breath got heavier, the air seemed much harder to inhale. "Hannah, are you okay?" SAM! I NEED TO GO TO SAMS HOSPITAL. THEY CALLED. "WHAT? WHATS GOING ON?" I don't know!!! I shouted. I walked away. My breathing felt a little worse. He took me to his car. He drove fast. Exceeding the speed limit. Sam fucking slow down! You're gonna get us in a crash! "No we need to get there!" *2 minutes later* Sam had parked in the front of the hospital. He snatched the keys out of the ignition real quick. He unlocked the doors, swung the door open fast and slammed it. "Hurry Hannah! We need to know what's going on!!" We entered through the hospital. It smelled like a hospital. You know, that weird smell. It seemed really bright in there. The air was really cold, and I got the shivers. My back felt like it was being tickled. It wasn't a person who was tickling me. It was my sweat, dripping down to my lower back. I sped up to the front desk. I had to catch my breath before I could speak. I got a call about 5 minutes ago. They told me I needed to get here fast! It sounds like an emergency. "Yes, well do you know who the injured patient is?" NO! WHAT THE HELL. I JUST TOLD YOU. I snapped at the lady. Sam looked at me, confused and raised his left eyebrow. He kept quiet. What? I asked him. In a sassy tone. His eyes widened and he pushed his head back. "Nothing." I sighed. Okay? I gave my attention back to the nurse. "I just asked who was injured, and it was a close friend with the name of Sarah." My heart dropped to the floor, my brain sank to my throat. I was getting hotter, and I could feel my back crying a river of sweat. What room is she in? I asked. Tell me! Tell me now! I screamed in the lady's face. Her eyes widened, she jumped. "room 216" I pushed my way through the wide and enormous doors. I ran. I looked left and right. I looked for room 216. I saw 222, then it went down 220, 219, 217, then 216. I stood there. My jaw dropped and my eyes were stinging with the salty pain of tears. My best friend. Sarah. Who I had known all my life, Was getting electrocuted and shocked. She looked dead and pale. They were pushing on her chest and everything. But I couldn't seem to figure out why. Sam finally caught up with me. His Adam's apple dropped low and his eyes were a little wide. The nurse ran to the door, quickly shutting it. My mouth widened, I screamed no! Sam locked me in his arms, squeezing me tight. He was bear hugging me. His head went down to my head. His face was buried on the top of my head. His eyes closed. I stood there, crying in his arms. *20 minutes later* we were in the waiting room. I was laying in Sammy's arms. He held me tight. I was half asleep. My head hurted really bad. It was pounding. The nurse came in the room. "Hannah?" I got up quick. Yes? I asked. "We need to talk....." My breathing got slower and my eyes were a little wide. I walked up to her. The nurse pulled me back into the room. Leaving sam in the waiting room. The door shut. She took me to the room with Sarah laying in the bed. I walked in fast and stood there, staring at her. "I'm so sorry.. She's dead." Frowned the nurse. What? My mouth quivered and my eyes were like a waterfall. What do you mean? "She's gone.. I'm so sorry." What happened??? I asked crying. "She overdosed. We found several types of drugs in her body. "Oh my god!!" I cried even more. I felt really dizzy. My head throbbed of shooting pains. My stomach was being twisted into knots like a tornado, grasping me down. My joints tightened. I got weak. Everything started to dim around me. I fell down to the ground. I blacked out.
