Vinícius hadn't seen the girls all day. They had been working for three days on a top secret project in Ada's room that he wasn't allowed to see until it was done.

He was happy they had found something to occupy their time. It was something both Pia and Adalie were truly excited about, and he loved seeing that joy on them.

Ada was still sleeping with Pia for the time being at night. He didn't expect things to change immediately, but he was hoping that whatever the project was, it would help build up Adalie's comfort in the room.

He dragged his palm tiredly down his face with a sigh. He was finally caught up on everything, but there's always so much to do. He felt very distracted. There was nothing he wanted to do more than spend time with Adalie and Pia.

A knock on his office door broke his thoughts and Ada peeked around the corner.

"Hi," she giggled, running over to him.

"Hey there," he smiled contently, pulling her onto his lap. "How's your secret project going?"

"We're all finished," Pia said from the door, entering his office for the first time, her eyes curiously wondering around the room.

"Does that mean I get to see it?" he asked, watching as she moved over to his tall bookshelf. He didn't miss the paint splatters on their clothes.

"That's why we came here, to see if you were busy," Ada said.

"I'm done with my work for today, and I can't wait to see this secret project," he said, standing up and placing Ada on her feet.

"Come on," she said, running out of the room.

Vinícius moved towards Pia who seemed lost in thought. "Are you okay?"

She smiled, "I'm just being nosey." She turned to wrap her arms tightly around him. "Did we interrupt you?"

"Not at all, baby. I missed you guys," he said, resting his head on hers.

Ada called them from the hallway and they broke apart slowly. Pia grabbed Vinícius hand, leading him to the room she and Ada had been painting.

"Are you ready, Vinny? Pia did such a good job!" Ada said.

Pia blushed, "Go look."

Vinícius opened the door curiously, revealing an empty room. On the largest wall was a massive mural.

It was incredible.  It was him and Pia riding a unicorn while Adalie was flying on a dragons back. It was bright and colorful and looked like it came from a movie.

"Wow," he breathed. His mate was gifted.

"This was the inspiration," Pia whispered, cheeks still aflame. She handed him a drawing that must have been done by Adalie.

"Pia, this is amazing." He was honestly speechless. "You can paint whatever wall in this house you would like. I love this."

"It was just a little something," Pia murmured.

"I love it too, Pia! Can we get a bed to match so I can stay in here?" Adalie giggled. "I did the polka dots, Vinny."

"I see those dots. They look so good. I love this drawing too, can I keep it to hang in my office?"

Adalie nodded gleefully. "Can I get Miss Sherry to show her the room?"

"That's a great idea," Vinícius said. "Make sure she's not busy first."

"This is absolutely stunning," he told Pia once Ada was gone.

Pia should shook her head in denial. "It's okay, I've never really painted before."

"Feel free to paint whatever you want around here, sweetheart. You've got a real talent."

"It was fun, I might do that," she smiled up at him. "Can we get her a bed to match?"

"Absolutely. I can have someone pick out the furniture, or if you want to pick it out you can."

"I'll probably let Ada pick if that's okay-"

Pia was cut off my Adalie's footsteps.

"Miss Sherry said you and Vinny have a date tonight," Adalie said. "I'm going to play games with her and Miss Lucy."

"A date?" Pia asked, staring up curiously at Vinícius who shrugged just as clueless.

"I didn't know what that was. She said you and Vinny will have private time." Adalie was unfazed.

"Woah," Sherry said when seeing the painting. "Amazing."

"What's this about a date?" Vinícius asked.

Sherry laughed joyfully, "you and your mate get a date, and me and Ada get one too." She gave them a wink. "Dinner will be served to you wherever you decide to go."

"Are you okay with that, Adalie?" Pia asked seriously. She was worried she would neglect her sister, but she did long for some time with Vinícius.

"I'm so excited," Ada clapped her hands.
