PoV: Kim Seokjin

A few days had passed since Hobi had slept over at my place. Due to his help and cheerfulness I had been able to get my apartment clean again which immediately resulted in me being less down. But I was - of course - still more or less heartbroken. Not even a clean and fancy apartment could make up for the empty hole Jungkook had left in my life.

Deciding I should try to move on, although it hurt, I got up at this early Friday morning, took a shower and got dressed afterwards.
I looked pretty decent.
At least in contrast to a week ago.
My eyes were less puffy because I didn't cry that often anymore and my skin had recovered a little again since I had started cooking for myself after Hobi had been here instead of just ordering fast food.

I should really try to get out of here.
Staying in my apartment all day just wasn't it - it made me more depressed than I had thought.
So I packed a little bag for this day and left these four walls that had gotten way too familiar within the past weeks.

Today was just about walking and spending time with myself. I didn't use the subway, just kept on walking. After about half an hour I reached one of my favorite cafes and went in to grab a coffee and a blueberry muffin.
This was the best place to get baked goods from since they always used real fruits in their cakes, not just these artificial flavors.

Once they gave me my order I stored the muffin in my bag and started to sip on the coffee while leaving the store. I decided to not really bother where I was going, just let my legs take me wherever they wanted to go.

I turned on my music and listened to my favorite calm playlist through my airpods, trying to ignore the soft heartache I felt as my own song "tonight" came on.
Don't think about him, Seokjin.
He's not worth it.

Luckily no one recognized me. I had put on a white mask to cover my mouth and nose and was wearing a black cap to hide my hair. I had died it blond about a week ago since the purple had been really washed out and my dark roots had been showing again.

I loved the feeling of the wind brushing softly against my face. It was a warm, sunny day but the wind turned it into exactly the perfect weather for me.
I found myself at the bottom of a mountain and went for a hike. I hadn't been here in a while, it felt good to get my body moving like this.

After a while I reached my favorite spot ever: You had a wide and beautiful view of Seoul from this spot and there was a big tree to lean against. I sat down, turning my music a little louder and watched the city move and shine.
Lights were flickering here and there, the sun was shining on my face.
Leaning my head against the tree I closed my eyes, letting the calmness of this situation flow right through me.
Eventually, sleep took over.

-

"hEY HAhah noooo!", someone squealed, causing me to open my eyes. Dang, did I really fall asleep?
My music had stopped playing after the playlist played through, apparently, which is why I could hear people talking.

"Don't! Those are my chips!"

A squeal and a giggle afterwards, followed by quick foodsteps and the sound of someone chewing something crispy.

"I said don't touch them, Jungkook!"

I froze in my seat. Daring to open my eyes.

And then I heard that familiar chuckle, saw the strong back muscles and triceps being visible through the grey T-Shirt he was wearing. He. Jungkook.

My breath got caught in my throat, causing me to cough involuntarily while still staring at Jungkook's back. Why the fuck was he here? What was he doing here? And who were his friends?

"Taehyung, don't make a fuss, here are other people too! Be nice.", Jungkook grinned while stuffing another tortilla chip into his mouth.
"There's literally nO one here!", the other, apparently someone named Taehyung, complained.

"Yes, there is!", the dark haired boy stated, turning around to look for people, looking straight into my face. "There, look-"

His jaw dropped.

I quickly looked down, trying to avoid his gaze, tearing up.
I didn't want him to see me but I have been missing his eyes so much. I've missed the way he had looked at me, his big eyes which were so calming and pretty.

The sound of a chips packaging falling down and quick footsteps appeared.

"Seokjin?"

[a/n: this is a shorter chapter because it was mainly a filler, except for the end of course. Who is that Taehyung guy tho? 😳]
