Chapter 3: What is this?

The sun gleamed in my eyes. I squinted them. I got up and saw a note on the closet door.

'I got you some clothes, I will be gone for three hours I'm taking Meghan to the doctor, Devon Is there so if you need anything ask him.

From Mrs. Reynold'

I sighed 'great stuck with the bad boy'. I put on a black shirt with bold silver lettering saying lezzgo with ripped jeans and black high tops. I walked downstairs to see breakfast. There was pancakes, bacon, eggs, and fruit. I got a little bit and ate it, as I was eating, I heard someone coming downstairs. I looked up to see Devon SHIRTLESS. 'Oh my....' I turned away because I knew, I was staring too hard my cheeks were heated. Devon chuckled, "like what you see ?" I didn't say anything. He laughed and grabbed an apple.

His phone rung and he answered it. "Hello...Hey wassup man...I'm good...uh sure... ok later". He hung up. "Can you please put on a shirt?" I asked. He sighed and went upstairs. I don't know why but just looking at him. I felt myself as if I was going to jump on him, not in a lovely way. 'What's wrong with me?' I thought of my old friend Amy's mother said... a monster. I felt my tears filled my eyes. I wiped them so Devon did not see.

DING DONG

I saw Devon run down the stairs with an orange Nike shirt with shorts and orange shoes. He opened the door showing a guy with jet black hair spiked up and brown eyes.

He was wearing a green shirt with jeans and black shoes. "Hey, dude what's up". He looked over his shoulder. "Hey who's the chick, is it your girlfriend?" The guy smirked.

Devon blushed, "No my mom just found her on the st-". He looked at me. "She's my little sister babysitter, she stays here because of her family.... moved to Los Vegas". The guy gave him a weird look.

"Then why didn't they take her with them." Devon then said, "They didn't have enough money for all of them and the family is friends with my mom so she's staying with us for a while". I smiled. 'He lied to me how sweet!' The guy looked at him, "whatever dude". He walked over to me." So what's your name?" "Kaitlyn". Oh, I'm single." He said.

I rolled my eyes 'so cheesy'." The names Ethan, babe." I looked at him and growled," I'm not babe, I'm Kaitlyn". He shrugged, "Feisty I like it." Devon rolled his eyes and looked at Ethan. "Want to play some video games". Ethan nodded and looked at me." Want to play?" I shook my head. "No, I'm good". He shrugged. "Suit yourself". They got their joysticks and played COD.

I was rather bored so I went upstairs to my room and laid down. I looked at the ceiling and closed my eyes.

I ran across the hall looking for him. Once I found him. I said, "Sir I found her." I smirked. I looked at him to see him smirking as well.

*She's dreaming*

I looked around and said, "Where am I?" "Why you home dear, Kaitlyn." I looked to see a tall figure, I couldn't see his face." Who are you?" I yelled. He just chuckled. "You will find out and once you do, you will find out who you really are." Then he disappeared. I yelled. "NO COMEBACK, COME BACK!" Then everything went blank
