Chapter 3

"Who are they?" It was a nice spring day on the Sohma estate. The trees and flowers were in perfect bloom. The three boys sat around on the terrace looking out into the rest of the estate. All boys were the same age, eight years old, and all returned home from their all boys school. There was a boy with dark grey hair and eyes that match, next to him was a boy with neat black hair and dark green eyes, and lastly was a pale young man with silver hair and amber eyes. Their appearances were a bit odd, but not to each other. Their appearances come along with their curse.

The young boy with the black hair and green eyes turned over his shoulder to see who his friends were referring to.

"Hey where are you going?"

"Away from you." All three boys caught the teasing tone.

"Oh yeah, until I catch you." After that the male ran after the young female as she screamed in fun trying to 'run' away. But 'by chance' he caught up and caught her. He held her in his arms as they both laughed holding onto one another.

The male was no older than 18 years old. He was tall, masculine, and had a deep voice to match. From the rumors, Hatori's heard he's more of the silent type. His hair was a bit longer than his and Shigure's but nowhere as long as Ayame's. His hair was a bright burgundy color, almost crimson, with light brown eyes. "That's Minori Sohma, he's going to graduate high school this summer. He's also the horse of the zodiac."

The young couple kissed as they held each other, playing no mind to the eyes on them. The young woman was beautiful; her long light chestnut hair going past her waist, her bright emerald green eyes shining, and her short stature was such a contrast to her towering companion. "She's Azula Sohma, she's 17 years old and she's graduating from high school this year too. She's the boar."

"Hey, Hatori!"

"Huh?!?" All boys blinked in confusion and shook their heads slightly to see the said male and female approaching the three elementary school students.

"Hi, Minori. Azula."

The young teen boy smiled," The famous Mabudachi trio, that Hatori is always talking about."

Hatori narrowed his eyes in confusion," Mabudachi trio?"

"Oh Ha'ri I knew, you enjoyed us." Ayame fanned over.

"We are so flattered." Shigure grinned.

Hatori narrowed his eyes in annoyance this time looking over at Shigure's shit-eating grin.

All the boys looked at the girl as she giggled looking at the younger boys. "Sorry boys but I have to steal 'Nori for an important appointment. "

Minori smiled and scratched the back of his head, "Sorry Hatori, but I'll catch up with you in a bit. Nice meeting you Ayame, Shigure." With that the pair turned and walked away.

"So that's Azula Sohma." Ayame spoke, causing the other two to look at him. "The rumor around the estate is that she's pregnant. She's graduating from high school with a baby."

Shigure nodded," Huh, really? You can't really tell. "

Hatori continued to stare off at the two," Isn't your mother pregnant as well, Ayame?"

Ayame nodded," She sure is. Maybe this time she gets a baby she can actually hold."

All boys stood silent, that was the grim reality that has followed all three boys, and every member of the zodiac, lives.

Shigure shrugged," There's a chance. I wonder what they're going to have, if they have a girl then Azula would be able to hold her baby but Minori won't and if they have a boy Azula would never be able to hold her baby. Maybe they'll get lucky and the baby will come out cursed like them. They seem nice if they're lucky they can get the rat. Or if they're unlucky, the cat."
