Zipper x Reader ONESHOT

Bunny Day

Today was Bunny Day. All the residents were wearing weird egg outfits and walking around talking about eggs.

"Finally, no more eggs after today." You groan.

You had collected so many eggs, that your backyard was full of them. To be festive, you put on a Spring outfit and headed to the Resident Services Center. Zipper was there, with a few egg-shaped balloons behind him. He was doing that same dance, as expected. You approach him from behind, grabbing the zipper on his back.

"Excuse me, but could you- AH don't touch that! Let go let go let go!" He flailed his arms around.

You let go of the zipper and go in front of him. "Hello again."

"Ahem- Boingity boing! Hey there, skipper! It's me... Zipper!" The rabbit spun around happily.

"Do you still remember me?" You asked.

He gasped. "Do I remember you? Well, of course I do! I never forget a friendly face... Especially one I meet in a new place."

You smile lightly.

"Looks like you kept my visit a secret. I'm surprised you actually listened..." He mumbled.

You totally told (V/N), and hoped they didn't tell anyone else.

"Anyway, my favorite day is finally here! Time to fill this island with lots of bunny cheer!" Zipper danced. Seriously what is up with this guy and dancing? "Hip-hop-hooray! Are you ready to celebrate Bunny Day?"

"I have too many eggs."

"Uh- Great! Say it with me now... The time has come! Let's look for eggs! Tha-"

You stopped him midway. "No more eggs! I already have enough."

He paused and clapped. "If you have all six types of eggs, I'll give you a funny-bunny reward! Ya know what, I also have a surprise for someBUNNY very special..."

Zipper handed you another DIY recipe. "And that someBUNNY is you! Here's a Bunny Day arch recipe to say thanks for all you do."

So, now you had to collect every Bunny Day DIY recipe and craft them all. That could wait for now.

"Zipper, do you have a moment?" You ask him.

"Of course I d- HEY!" You grab him by his arm and drag him behind the Resident Services building. "What was that for?!"

"So, to make this short and not cheesy, I just wanted to say thanks for what you did. It's not easy going around placing eggs everywhere and dealing with the hatred for it while ALSO keeping your enthusiasm." You tell him.

"Oh, thank you!" He beams, thinking he's being watched by other villagers.

You hug him tightly.

"TOO HARSH SKIPPER!" He squirmed until you let go.

"Will you be back next year?" You stepped back.

"Of course, skipper!" He replied, blushing.

"You can call me (Y/N)."

"That's a pretty name!" He then turned around. "I have to get back now, see you for now, (Y/N)."

He's still a weirdo, but just misunderstood.

[Aaand that concludes the Zipper T. Bunny x Reader Oneshot! It'd be kinda weird adding a kiss scene cause I have no idea if Zipper is actually a costume or not. ]
