We immediately rushed to the library to get the GTOs Football match pictures.
The library was the only place you would learn how history was never actually dead and that it still lives with us, how science is not all about questions but sometimes an answer itself.
The place where you can solely lose yourself simultaneously knowing thyself.

The varsity library was one of it's own kind, with roman architecture making it a complete archaeological laboratory. It's gigantic shelves are pillars of Doric style. It was a compact square of wooden art, stuffed with books, standing tall in my heart. The place I make supreme visits.
The librarian is the only one that genuinely feels cheerful when I enter the room and sometimes I also bribe her for granting me 5 books at a term to read.

We went to Ms Karen, the keeper of books, asking her for the pictures. She grinned at me like a lost friend.

The pictures were shuffled up in the last shelf and it needed a lot of patience to go through the albums. We took all the football albums and started looking for the GTO ones. It was hard to flip through the light glaring images but we managed to locate after 15 minutes of random search.

We closely looked at the picture of both the teams, I found Zach and Arthur playing in opposition but still nothing suspicious in the background.
Then the next picture was of the cheerleaders and guess what, good heavens, Haven Ruther was the forefront in the cheerleading team. I never knew that our university had sent it's cheerleading team for the GTO match.
I immediately tossed the page and there was another picture of formal celebration in which both winning as well as losing team have a formal celebration to appreciate all the players.

The picture was congested with drinks and howling footballers but at the back there were Haven and Arthur going unnoticed in the entire scene. So now it's tidied off that how they met. And I know that Haven might have babbled ill about me since her only topic to talk with every new person is how bad bitch I am and how I compromised her life whereas the reality goes upside down. And definitely after learning that Arthur has already talked with me she must have tried to rub her dirt around him since they going for the winter formal together.

Derecka and I decided to tell all this to Rachel who till now doesn't know where we were driven the entire day. Every time whatever Rachel says comes true, she predicts like an astrologer well to do with her pseudoscience.
I don't want to hand over the victory to Rachel but come on she had the right to know that I owed her an apology for not listening to her.
We immediately rushed to the canteen to signal Tyler that our work was done and went on a search for Rachel.
She should be in chapel but it was a Friday and on Fridays she visits chapel in the morning before class.
I just texted her to meet us in canteen since both Derecka and I had our last lecture of sociology which we were missing.

We sat on the table with our strawberry creams near the football field to get some fresh air. It was a humid day yet the moisture kept my skin warm and mild. We were having our talk when Arthur from the back showed up suddenly right on my face. Now I had no way to escape nor could Derecka help me, he looked in my eyes,
‘Why aren't you talking with me after that party night? I really don't know what Aaron told you while he was high on toxic but don't trust him.’
‘He did not tell me anything except that you were taking Haven as your date.’
‘I see but why are you behaving so secluded with me?’
‘I'm not, it's just that I'm a little busy lately.’
He smiled and shook his head, going back to the field.
I was sipping and wondering how I would deal with the other thing I took from Haven's bag while taking her phone away. I was dealing with 2 crisis at the same time. But firstly I should deal with one, then hop to another.
We saw Rachel coming, browsing something through her phone.
‘Guys I found out that white pasta doesn't actually have cheese, it has large quantity of milk.’
Oh my lord, there she goes with her superfluous information
‘We have something to tell you, Rach.’
Derecka gave me a pity some look and told her everything.
Rachel started yelling at me how ludicrous I was, not listening to her and then hugged me. That's what mothers do, first rebuking the child and then giving them the candy. She's such a mom material.

All 3 of us, decided to pick some baked lunch from the Abraco's. On our way to the lunch I was feeling super anxious and I needed to do this one think before the day ends, this one problem which still needed my attention. While Derecka and Rachel were talking in the corridor I slipped my way out to find Aaron.

He was in the table tennis court playing like some mislay sport.

‘Hey, can I talk to you for a minute.’
He wiped the sweat from his forehead with his sleeves and came running to me,
‘Yea sure, what happened?’
‘I just wanted to say that I'm ready to come with you to the formals.’
‘Oh but you did not want to get escorted by a nerd.’
‘First of all nerds don't get high and secondly I'll only come if u don't wear that stupid dotted bow.’
‘That's not stupid and okay I won't wear it.’

He grinned at me and I felt really weird standing any further moment there, so I departed.

On my way back I met Zach near his locker packing his things up, I wanted to go and show him what I had found out of Haven's bag but I had to keep my cool and get evidence if it was true or not. We just exchanged smiles and I really miss him a lot. I feel bad for myself for not valuing him when he gave me everything.

Past is such a game which can either put stains on your life or make it fragrant.
I wish that day had never happened.
I immediately went to Derecka and Rachel ready with an excuse if they ask where did I vanish.
Now the point was how am I suppose to tell them that I agreed to go to the formals with Aaron and the reason for it.
