today I finally go back to school after god knows how long I've been at home.
I tried to stay home until all of my bruises and shit healed but I can't stay here no longer.
after spraying on my perfume, I headed downstairs to see kentrell and all his friends sitting on the couch.
grabbing my backpack from the end of the stairs, I walked right through the living room, and straight through the front door without saying a thing.
I don't owe them a damn hello.
after about 15 minutes of walking, I was at the school.
mostly everyone was sitting outside, waiting for homeroom to start.
taking that as an advantage, I went inside and went to my locker.
since the hallway was empty, i started to walk a bit slower.
"hey nariah." i heard from behind me.
i turned around fast as hell.
standing there was one of the most known drug dealers around baton rouge ... jahking.
better known as king.
how the hell he know my name?
"um hey..king." i replied to him, turning around.
by the time i had turned around he was already up in my face.
"let me take you home today. i seen you been walking to school and stuff, and you shouldn't be." he said, licking his lips.
i rolled my eyes.
there's no way in hell he's expecting to just take me home.
"i don't know about all of that king. i know how you operate with these girls.." i said, trailing off.
just as i finished my sentence the bell had rung.
"just give me a chance. matter fact, i'll bring you lunch today to show you i'm serious."
"alright king.. i gotta go to class." i said, about to walk off from him.
"alright nariah, make sure you check your phone." he said walking off leaving me confused as hell.

only 5 more minutes until lunch.
my phone vibrated, making me look down.

by the time i had looked up, the sub was staring right in my face.
"what? cause your not getting my phone." i said, crossing my legs.
