Alli p.o.v

We walked down the street, the elementary school was pretty close.

We turned into a small street to our left, Rosewood Avenue.

Cody looked better now than he did earlier, the shower he took helped him.

We didn't say anything until I broke the silence again.

“Do you think it's somewhere here?”

I was cold, we were walking around for 3 hours now and my entire body was freezing and shaking.

“I hope so.”

He didn't even look at me.

We kept walking until Rosewood Avenue ended into a bend to the right.We followed and passed a few small houses.The trees weren't covered into snow anymore, snow slush was everywhere.My feets were wet.

We walked and walked and walked, my attention faded into my own thoughts.I thought about Billy, I loved this boy so much.He was attractive, handsome, smart, funny, humoristic and lovely in every single way.

I cleared up my mind as I saw a house fitting to Codys describtion of her house.Small, brown roof, porch around the entire house.A tree on the yard.

“Whoa, Cody stop!Could it be her house?” I asked him.

“Maybe, let me take a closer look.You better stay right her and don't move.” He told me.

He had to be kidding me.

“Are you kidding me?I found this house and I'm gonna come with you!” I yelled as I ran after him.I felt him rolling his eyes.

We walked towards the door and looked at the door bells nameplate.It said

“J. M. & A. Gibbons”

“Is that her...?” I asked.

“No, it's not her.Let's walk home, it's cold.”

Cody p.o.v

It was her house.We found it, we truly did!

I told Alli it wasn't her house because I didn't want her to get in trouble.That's what big brothers do, they protect their little sister.

We walked back and the silence between us ganied the upper hand again.It took us 1 hour to get back.It was 7pm when we arrived.Our parents were waiting for us.

“Where have you been?” Mom asked.

I didn't have an answer, so I hoped Alli had one.

“We...uhm...we took a walk.Needed to talk, you know?From sister to brother...”

Mom just nodded and turned around to join Dad on the couch.

Alli followed me into my room.

“I'm sorry we didn't find it.” She said softly.

“Oh, it's okay.We can continue searching tomorrow.” I said.

“May leave my room?I wanna take a shower.I'm frozen inside!”

“Oh, yeah...sure.”

Alli left my room quickly and I walked into my bathroom.I stripped out of my clothes and threw them into the basket for my laundry.Mom would wash it soon.

I grabbed a towel and placed it next to my shower, then I turned it on and jumped under the hot water.

I planned on going back to that house tonight as the hot water streamed down my toned body.I grabbed some shower gel and frothed it up between my palms, then I wiped it onto my body.
