2. Going to Hogwarts

"Noa hurry up the train leaves in 10 minutes!

-Relax Chris, we still have plenty of time!"

The Lewis siblings were making their way towards the Platform 3/4, and according to Christopher they were not fast enough, even though Noa knew that they would totally be on time. Her brother was always worried for nothing. The very ponctual Ravenclaw in him hated how Noa did everything at the last minute, even her suitcase, like she did the very morning  they had to leave. Their parents had left them in front of King Cross, they were used to going to Hogwarts now, they didn't need them to come along with Noa and her brother to the platform.

They finally arrived in front of the barrier and crossed it easily, they were now facing a big red train : the hogwarts express  that would take them to Hogwarts like it did every year.

She quickly spotted her best friend Leah in the crowd and notified Christopher that she was going to join her. Leah was waving at Noa with enthusiasm as if she hadn't noticed her and when Noa was close enough she jumped into her arms.

"Leah we live 10 minutes from each ohter, we litteraly met for a coffee three days ago." said Noa while parting from Leah.

"I know but it feels like an eternity, so many things happened since then! I need to tell you everything!" answered Leah.

Noa wasn't even surprised, her best friend always seemed to live crazy adventures. Everytime they saw each other Leah had stories to tell about new people she had met or amazing places she had discovered. Leah loved being outside, exploring and meeting people, she was obsessed with the idea that everyday was a new adventure and that you had to make the most out of it. Sometimes Noa followed her on her escapades, and she found herself in the middle of strangers, but unlike Leah she didn't know how to socialize, so most of the time she stayed quiet and listened to the others. This is why, eventually, Noa stopped coming. She enjoyed being by herself, dreaming about quidditch. A thing that Leah never really understood since she wasn't interested in that sport at all.

Leah was a pureblood but she had always been very intrigued by muggles and Noa supposed that was why she was always trying  to befriend every single one of them. But Noa also thought that the other reason why  Leah was doing all of that was to annoy her parents who belived in wizzards superiority and with whom Leah didn't really get along.

"You'll tell me all of this when we'll be seated. Come on let's try to find some seats, Ethan must be waiting for us." said Leah while dragging Leah towards the train.

Inside they indeed found Ethan waiting for them in a compartment. Ethan was a hufflepuff, but he had been hanging out with the two best friends since 3rd year, when they had all ended up in detention at the same time. They were inseparable since then.

"What took you so long ? I was scared you were going to miss the train and I would have to find new friends for this year." Asked Ethan when he noticed the two girls standing in front of him.

"Sorry Ethan honey, but I had to wait for our dear friend Noa because I was sure she would be late, again" answered Leah

"I wasn't that late..." mumbled Noa, who really had a reputaion for never being on time.

"Anyways, everyone is here now! So let me tell you about that girl I met..." exclaimed Leah while sitting down.

Leah kept talking for two hours, for she really had a lot of things to say, like she always did. Ethan had even fallen asleep and shamefully missed the end of Leah's story, who was as scandalous as every single one of her stories could get.

"How do you always get yourself in those situations ?" asked Noa to Leah

"You just have to get out of your confort zone, after that it feels like everything is possible. You should try." said Leah while taking a bite of her chocolate frog.

"I think I'll stick to quidditch but thanks for the advice." answered Noa while laughing

"Nothing exciting will happen if you stay on your broom all day"

"Quidditch is exciting, Leah" said Noa.

"If you say so." answered Leah while rolling her eyes. She always tried to get Noa to do something else than train and to hang out more with her instead, but Noa knew that deep down Leah would always support her dreams to make a career in quidditch.

After a few more hours of sleeping, eating and gossiping, the train finally arrived at Hogsmeade station. They were ready to start the new year.
