Ethan's POV
Bang the door slammed shut as my three best friends entered the room. Their eyes were burning mad with anger. "Alpha Ethan." Brook said using the appropriate way to call me for once in his life. "You need to do something about the Night Howl pack. They humiliated us in front of the whole school." the way Brook begged me to discipline them was comical. You would never imagine this boulder of a man to ever be begging for help.
"What did they do now?" I asked bored while flipping through my book.
The Night Howl Pack was a huge nuisance. They were a rouge pack not yet loyal to any of the bigger packs and were always getting in our way. Trying to act like the Justice League as they protect the weak but are rude to the strong. They did everything from small to huge to powerful people and especially didn't like my pack, one of the largest in the United States.
"They went and took our table at lunch. Not only that, they wouldn't move and Mark that good for nothing Beta ordered some of the weak wolves in our pack away!" Chase began yelling each word pronounced with more fury.
The Night Howl Pack ordering my pack around was a sign of pushing back. Showing people they were just as strong as my pack if not stronger since their beta not their alpha ordered my wolves around.
Chase though was just furious because he had an anger problem, hating to not have the best of everything. His dark brown eyes almost seeming black and his Mohawk spiked high, making him look more threatening than the huge 6'7 muscle head standing right next to him.
"You as alpha need to do something about them." Jane said calmly but her fury was matched with Chase's. They were a perfect couple that could scare you into doing anything.
I had no time to answer as once again the door slammed open. My father walking in. He was tall with an air of authority. He looked a lot like me with his light brown hair the same shade and our faces almost identical except my eyes were a bright blue and his a light brown.
"Get out of here." he growled to my friends and they scattered like rabbits in front of a lion. He sat down across from me and I lowered my book. "Son." He said in a polite fierce tone. "Don't let you pack order you around." I nodded and he continued on "You know you have to mate soon or else you won't truly be the heir." he said changing the topic.
I rolled my eyes at him not wanting to have this conversation, not now or anytime actually.
My father smiled and I knew something was up. "Well by that look, I can see you don't want to mate anytime soon. So I'll put it off for a bit if you get the Night Howl pack to join our pack."
"Why would we want them in our pack?" I asked worried because whatever my father wanted he got. This could not end well our packs don't get along and now he wants them to be a family.
"They are strong and who knows maybe you'll find your mate." He said chuckling to himself. He then took out a picture putting it on the desk. "This is Blair their alpha. Do whatever you have to do to persuade her to join our pack."
I looked down to see the girl with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes to match. Her smile radiating making her look like the happiest person in the world. Mark her beta was standing right next to her. I sighed. This would be a long task that couldn't get more difficult. Blair was on of the most stubborn people I knew and wouldn't be easy to convince to do what I want. I smiled to myself, I enjoy a challenge.
