When a wolf howls

fighting and amends

Blair's POV

The howl rose again and Mark and I transformed into our wolves. I ran passed him and ran as fast as I could. This howl has never been used before.

Before I even reached the fight I could hear their yelps. So I quicken my speed, running in and seeing wolves from all kinds of packs. Small packs that gathered together to out number my pack. I attacked right away ripping into everyone throat as long as they weren't in my pack. Hoping to injure them enough that they couldn't fight anymore.

A huge male attacked me, his fur a grayish black. Then if that wasn't enough two medium brown wolves attacked me as well. That's when I saw Nikki. Her fiery red fur and small physique catching my attention. "Nikki!" I yelled breaking away from the wolves that were attacking me. This crazed gray wolf was charging towards her, I needed to protect her, I ran out in front of her, the gray wolf's teeth slicing into my shoulder. The three wolves I just escaped caught up and attacked me once again and the gray wolf went for Naomi again and this time I couldn't get to her. Then within a blink of my eye there was a huge brown wolf in front of her and a huge pack standing behind him. Everyone stopped fighting.

"Get out of here, we won't let this fighting happen on my territory." Ethan's voice rang out throughout the woods, the wolves of the smaller packs ran and Ethan's pack ran forward chasing them out of their territory.

"Blair!" Mark yelling coming over to me and the rest of the pack came over to me. I had a huge gash on my shoulder and scratches all over. I looked my whole pack over. "Are you kidding me, I'm the most injured?" I joked but they all looked worried.

"Were sorry Blair. I'm especially sorry." Nikki said.

"You guys I'm fine." I said dragging myself onto my feet.

"Thanks for saving me Blair." Nikki said.

"I didn't, Ethan saved you." I grumbled upset that I now owed Ethan.

"So what is going on here?" Ethan asked.

"We were having a meeting about Mark and Blair and out of no where these wolves came out and attacked." Jamie whimpered.

"And you? How are you?" Ethan asked me while nuzzling against me.

"I'm fine but what do I owe you now?" I asked and the mischievous grin on Ethan face said everything.

"So were on the same page?" he asked then continued. " I want your pack to join my pack." the glare I gave Ethan was so hard that I'm surprised he didn't get hurt. But he did save my pack. I looked them all over again. They would all be dead if Ethan didn't step in, they needed a stronger alpha.

"I submit. We'll join your pack." I said gulping and lowering my eye contact from Ethan. I wasn't just doing it because I owed him but because my pack needed me to and perhaps I was looking for a way to get rid of my responsibilities. Maybe I did just want to be friends and not have power over them and maybe I was weak. It didn't matter, all in all I still submitted.

"Show me your neck." Ethan ordered and everyone in my pack gasped.

"Don't do it Blair, I'm here for you. You said we would lead together." Mark yelled desperately.

I couldn't even look Mark in the face because I was letting him down. I rolled onto my side and extended my neck, leaving it exposed for Ethan.

"We have new members of our pack. I want everyone to accept them because there is no fighting in my pack."

"Yes sir" all of his pack said.

"You all listen to Ethan, Ok?" I asked

"Just shut up Blair, you aren't our alpha anymore." Mark said walking over to Ethan.
