Maddie
Have you ever laughed at someone's joke and realized that you were trying to be mad at this person?
Well that's what is going on with me. Maybe I was drunk or the sky fell on my head or I got a brainwash but I can't believe that I had actually laughed at one of April's joke.
Even yesterday on the rooftop, things were kind of...awkward.
Who would have known that April Maclaury, that bitch blonde I hate since our first encounter could be friendly?
The atmosphere was a bit awkward when driving to school with April. She was all quiet watching the landscape outside the car's window.
After some minutes, she finally plugged her earphones on.
Since the beat from her earphones were loud enough for me to hear, I realized that she was listening to some kind of electro music.
I was never up for electro music. Rock was definitely my type. I even got a bass guitar. I got it for my thirteen years old from my Grandma who herself was a big fan of rock when she was young.
The music from April's earphones was so loud that I feared for a second that she might become deaf afterwards.
After some minutes, we finally arrived at school. I parked the car in the school yard and got out of the car. April's removed her earphones and got out too.
I headed to the school hallways, when she grabbed my shoulder from behind.
"Uhm...I don't know how tell you this but..." she said watching from side to side if someone was looking. "Well...uhm...can we forget...uhm...about yesterday?"
"Yesterday? Girl, I don't even remember what I ate yesterday," I shrugged.
"Gosh," she rolled her eyes. "I mean, that "supposedly" friendly thing on the rooftop."
"Oh "that"? Well I already forgot about it," I replied, looking at my nails.
"Well...same," she replied quickly.
"I hate you, then," I tilted my head from the side.
"I hate you most," she replied, going inside the school hallways.
"Hate your guts most," I yelled but she had already disappeared.
Damn.
This girl is sometimes so fucking annoying.
Who am I kidding? She's always annoying.
"Guess what?" someone said from behind.
"What?" I turned around and smiled.
"You have to guess," Meredith rolled her eyes.
"Uhm..." I thought for a while. "You've realized that you actually never liked Lana Del Rey?"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa," she held her hands in the air. "Girl, you seriously lost the plot here."
"But you told me to guess. I tried to guess," I shrugged.
