Sapphire

She let her small body upon their heads

For with her eyes opened the light spreads

It was quite too bright for them to bare

So steady hands were raised in the air

As the powerful glare came down

The hands slowly drown

For their pure eyes

Met her glossy ones

She pointed them

Her blank stare deep into their souls

Words at the top of their tongues

Were stopped before they could get out

A force was making them quiet

So they stayed in doubt

And fear

Of the beautiful creature near

Until at least something was said

And a mind read

"You are probably wondering who I am

Don't stay with hesitation children

I am not who killed one

I mean no harm, no danger

Even for a stranger

And at least Sapphire they call me

It is my world you are in

Where you always have been."
