Arabella's point of view
We slowly made our way back to the doctors room to continue our ultrasound, i pushed the door open, walking back to the table and hopping up on it.
"i'm sorry, i got overwhelmed. i may of overreacted a little bit." i spoke in a soft, embarrassed voice. The doctor nodded, she grabbed the doppler and restarted her machine to continue our appointment.
"that's okay, we all get overwhelmed sometimes, i can't imagine the stress you're under." The doctor spoke, gently lifting my shirt and getting ready to apply the gel again, "alright this is gonna be a little bit cold" she said as she squirted it onto my lower bump.
the screen pulled up the familiar picture that was on there previously. i saw the familiar flicker on the screen again, the doctor pointed at the screen "alright, like i said before this is your baby's heartbeat. super strong, how far along are you?" she asked, giving a slightly concerned look.
"um, i'm not sure, i can't remember." i stuttered, "why? is something wrong?" i asked, panic in my voice. I felt harrys hand on mine, i looked at him, and he gave me a reassuring look, a slight smile on his face, his emerald eyes glowing with happiness.
"oh no! i'm sorry to scare you like that, your baby is just measuring around 15 weeks, i was told you were only 6 weeks." The doctor spoke, also giving me a reassuring look. "But im sure your doctor just miscalculated , okay ms.casper, would you like to know the gender?" she looked at me , with a big grin on her face.
"Yes" harry said, and at the same time i said "No" we looked at each other, both confused. "Baby, i can't wait to find out. i need to know now so i can prepare myself for a mini you." he chuckled. i let out a soft laugh. "Fine. But if we are gonna find out early, i want to surprise you, so get out." I laughed, pointing at the door.
"What? Arabella no! I wanna be here to find out with you." he said, groaning, almost resembling a child who wants a piece of chocolate. "No. This is the only way we can find out early. please, let me know something that you don't for once." i spoke, giving a puppy dog eye look. The amnesia card, nice ara. i thought to myself.
Harry rolled his eyes, huffing and finally agreeing. He walked towards the door, and before opening it and exiting he said "It's definitely a boy!" then stormed out pouting.
I laughed and turned my attention back to the doctor. she moved the doppler around on my stomach. "Goodness, this baby is stubborn!" she giggled, moving the doppler again. "ahh, okay here we go you ready?" she asked, giving me an excited look. I nodded, with a big smile on my face.
My life was changing, I was becoming a mom. This is the happiest i've felt in such a long time.
Suddenly, a flashback appeared, i was standing in the kitchen, Harry had a piece of paper, a letter , that he had written. He loves me, i love him. He asked me to marry him, i said yes. and then suddenly, i could feel a excruciating pain, and i saw my best friend holding the gun. Sophia. Sophia shot me.
And all at once the words came rushing out,
"I know who shot me, and why she did it"
"Ms.casper! You're having a baby girl!"
