Eventually, Awsten woke up from his two hour nap, sitting beside Otto, at the table where Otto still was, and said "So, are you going to tell me what the hell happened yet?" The older boy sighed, quickly saying "Why does it matter? You're here. With me. What I had to do to bring you back isn't your concern." Awsten nodded, hesitantly saying "Okay. Fine. I'll drop the subject. For now." Otto smiled, relieved, and quickly said "Are you hungry?" Awsten shook his head, saying "Not really. But do we still have orange juice?" Otto nodded, looking towards the fridge, seeing that the box of donuts he'd bought the day Awsten died was somehow still on the counter. He figured he'd forgotten to throw it away, and he got up, picking up the box and throwing it into the trash bin, sitting back down where he'd formerly been seated. Awsten soon appeared again with a full glass of orange juice, sitting beside Otto and saying "So, can we do something tomorrow? Being dead isn't very fun, y'know." Otto laughed, saying "Yeah. Whatever you want to do. Let me know." Awsten nodded, smiling.
After another hour, the both of them re-watched season one of The Office, Awsten eventually forcing Otto to order him a pizza. After another forty-five minutes, the pizza arrived, and Otto thanked the delivery man, Awsten quickly ran away with the box of pizza, leaving Otto to pay, which he did. Otto watched in surprise as Awsten, within an hour, ate the entire pizza. The younger boy chuckled, saying "Shut up, Otto. I've been dead for like, a week." Otto laughed, turning his attention back to The Office. Awsten eventually sighed, saying "So. Did you murder anyone while I was dead?" Otto laughed, quickly saying "No." After a moment, Awsten sighed, laying his head on Otto's lap, saying "I think it'd be fun to murder someone though, don't you think?" Otto, confused, said "No, it wouldn't." Sighing, Awsten turned back towards the television, whispering "It would be though."
After a while, Otto got up, pushing Awsten off of his lap and deciding to shower for the first time since the incident had happened. He turned the water on, stepping in, and closed the shower curtain. After a moment, he heard shuffling, and Awsten said "Hey. I was bored." Otto rolled his eyes, saying "Okay. Then go to sleep or something. I'm kind of enjoying peace right now." Sighing, Awsten whined, saying "But I'm bored!" Otto, rolling his eyes again, said "Alright. I'll be out in a minute." He heard shuffling again, and then the door opening and closing. He sighed, finishing doing what he was doing and getting dressed, walking into their shared bedroom and saying "What the fuck were you annoying me about?" Awsten pouted, opening his arms, and Otto eventually gave in, hugging the younger boy and saying "Okay, what?" After a moment, Awsten sighed, saying "We're out of orange juice." They eventually both got up, driving to HEB and buying two bottles, Awsten grabbing one from Otto as they walked out of the store and immediately opening it, drinking half before they even got to the car.
They arrived home fifteen minutes later, seeing police outside of their building. They walked passed without any trouble, Otto holding Awsten's hand in a tight grip and leading him upstairs, ignoring the younger boy's pleas to see what was happening. After they got to their apartment, Awsten threw himself onto their bed, pouting. Rolling his eyes, Otto convincingly said "Listen, it was probably nothing. You know the old woman in 314 always calls when she loses her cat. They probably just felt bad and came to help her out or something." Awsten nodded, getting up and hugging Otto again, saying "I'm gonna go to bed. Goodnight." Chuckling, Otto turned around, kissing Awsten and saying "Goodnight."
