Bright could see through the rear view mirror that the two boys were really unhappy and afraid at the same time. They couldn't lift their eyes from the floor. He ignores them and continues driving. He don't know what has gotten into him to buy a pair of slaves but he has no intention in keeping them.
It was a long ride until they arrived at Bright's place and the two didn't even get a wink of sleep despite their tired faces. Bright got out of the car and head to the backdoor to open it for them. "Get out. We're here." Bright instructs as he sees the taller one staring back at him.
The two boys got out of the car the house they were expecting was way smaller than he thought that they were confused for a short while. They are so used to seeing a mansion to a point it was weird to see anything smaller than that. "What? The house is too small for you?" Bright glares at them. Bright rolls his eyes and walks towards the entrance of the building. "Follow me."
The two boys tails slowly behind Bright while being in chains. Bright hopes that he didn't knock into anyone while they're going up the lift. When Bright opens the door and enters the apartment, he was greeted with a friend. "You're back. I was about to call you."
"And you're here." Bright answers nonchalantly.
"You said I could crash here." Jimmy answers back.
"I said crash here not live here forever." Bright answers back.
"Anyway how was your business discussion?" Jimmy asks.
"It was a waste of time." Bright complains.
Jimmy tilts his head a little to the side to see the two new people in the house. "I thought you weren't the type to be having slaves?"
"I wasn't." Bright walks past him and wants to go to bed but Jimmy stops him by putting a hand in his chest. "What?"
"They're hurt." Jimmy points out.
Bright turns around to look at the two of them. "Where? I don't see anything."
"Follow me." Jimmy asks the two boys. The two boys nods softly and follows Jimmy towards the living room. Bright watches as he brings the two boys towards the sofa. Jimmy pats on the chair. "Take a seat."
The shorter one looks up at him with a worrisome face. Jimmy lets out a breath. "Take a seat. I won't bite you." He says towards the shorter boy. "You too." He looks at the taller one. Tommy takes a seat, keeping his distance from Jimmy but the taller boy only scoots closer to him. The taller one sits beside him as he watches Jimmy gets close to his friend.
"Bright, help me get a first aid kit." Jimmy asks. Bright rolls his eyes and takes the kit from the cabinet under the television. He passes it to Jimmy. It was weird to see the other boy work the tools in the kit as if it was a part of him.
Jimmy tears off the sleeve away from the smaller boy, revealing a huge wound. "Were you caned?" Jimmy asks as he takes the ointment and dab it with cotton. The smaller boy nods softly. "This is going to hurt so I need you to endure it." Jimmy warns.
Bright watches Jimmy work as he figures out the sleeping places for the two of them. The only option is that they share a room with him and Jimmy. "Hey, Bright. Help me check on his right leg. He seems to be limping just now." Jimmy says as he wraps the smaller boy's arm with a bandage. "So what's your name?" Jimmy asks.
"T-Tommy." He answers softly as he watch Jimmy wrap his wound.
"That's a really nice name." Jimmy comments with a smile.
Bright got to his knees and rolls up the fabric. The taller slave pulls away in shock when Bright did that. Bright let out a breath. "Look. I just want to take a look at your leg." Bright says honestly. Jimmy got down beside Bright and puts his hand on the boy's knee, slowly pushing it down to the ground.
