"Alright everyone, we're starting easy. I expect to have a full report on any movie of your choosing, including an in-depth analysis of directorial intention, casting, and methods of audience interaction," The professor announces, listing the grading criteria on the board.
"There will also be an additional presentation, which will be done in groups. I suggest you pick your movies and then make groups of about four based on genre," He continues, looking around the lecture hall carefully.
The professor's eyes land on a young man in the front, who seems to be laughing with someone next to him. The lecturer's eyes narrow, and a frown is apparent as he straightens his tie and clears his throat.
"Mr Jeon, there seems to be a repetitive issue in every single lecture. Your disruptions are neither entertaining nor helpful to a single other person than yourself." The professor snaps.
The hall goes silent, everyone hushed by the sudden outburst. The young man sitting at the front of the room slowly stands up and as I study the back of his head, I recognize him as the same person from the earlier makeout situation with the pink-sweater-girl.
The man doesn't say anything but simply holds up a peace sign and begins to make his way out of the row. When he reaches the aisle, he stretches his arms upwards, taking a moment to glance around the hall with a mischievous smile. I still can't see his face, but I admire his bravado along with what seems to be every other girl in the room.
The young man sends a wink at the pink-sweater girl, before turning to wave a brave goodbye to the rest of us. I can see the professor fuming, clearly upset by the confidence his student exuded.
"You can almost see every girl falling in love," Jaewon snickers, glancing over at me, "Oh god, you're one of those girls."
"What?! No!" I protest, chuckling softly, "I can't even see his face, I'm not interested in him. Just impressed,"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say," Jaewon mumbles, turning back to his work, "Just don't get with him. He's like...the grandmaster playboy,"
"I literally don't know who this guy is, don't worry about me," I say, rolling my eyes at my next-seat neighbor.

"And he just left?" Hyunjin asks incredulously, shaking his head in disbelief.
"Yeah, it was insane. I can't imagine anyone in the medical department doing anything like that," I say still trying to wrap my head around the class events.
Hyunjin nods as he offers to carry my bag for me.
I was surprised to see him waiting for me after my lecture. I wasn't necessarily disappointed, but it was unexpected. Hyunjin had even gotten me a coffee as he waited like a loyal bodyguard. I remember seeing a girl from the lecture attempting to strike up a conversation, but the moment Hyunjin had seen me, he had left her standing with her phone out; left open on a blank contact page...possibly for his number.
"Hyunjin," I say softly, earning an honest look from him.
"Yeah?"
"Why are...why are you acting like this?" I ask, glancing up at him quizzically.
"Noona, I have liked you since Eunbi first brought you home for a playdate. I...I'm tired of not doing anything and I thought I needed to at least try...right?" He answered, scratching the back of his neck.
"Yeah, okay...that's fair," I nod, now taking the time to study his face.
"Noona...do you...you know- Do you like me too?" Hyunjin's voice was soft and small, like a little kid apologising to his mother.
"Hyunjin...I" My voice trails off as I take a moment to order my thoughts, "I don't know. I've never thought of you that way, but I'm not opposed to it, at least- I don't think I am. And I don't think Eunbi would be either,"
Hyunjin doesn't respond, instead, I look over to see a boyish grin stretched across his face. I can see a pink hue settle across his face, earning a laugh from me as he flusteredly refuses to meet my gaze.
"Hey, hey, hey, what's this? What's got my little Hyunjinnie blushing?" A voice interrupts.
Hyunjin and I glance up to see Eunbi making her way over with the friendly giant, Namjoon, following her. Namjoon waves hello to the both of us, before his gaze returns to Eunbi with feverish heat.
"Nothing-" Hyunjin mutters, ducking away from Eunbi's hand that went to ruffle his hair.
"What? Did Dasom finally give you a chance?" Eunbi teases, and when neither Hyunjin nor I answer, my best friend's eyes widen in shock. "No way- are you guys dating now??"
"No!" Hyunjin and I exclaim at the same time, making both Eunbi and Namjoon exchange a knowing look.
"Alright...I guess that's good then. Because guess who I saw as I came to pick you up," Eunbi says slyly. I know this look of hers, it's one that's beyond suspicious. "Jungkook,"
"Jungkook?" Hyunjin, Namjoon, and I were all in sync as we expressed our surprise.
"Who's Jungkook?" Hyunjin asks.
"A really good friend of mine," Namjoon says, raising an eyebrow, "How do you know him, Eunbi?"
"He's Dasom's-" Eunbi begins to speak, but immediately stops when she sees my look of dismay.
"Dasom's what?" Hyunjin asks, now seemingly curious about my involvement with the newly-mentioned, Jungkook.
"Some guy I used to know," I say half-heartedly.
"I'd say I'm more than just a guy you used to know, Daso-" I hear someone say. I immediately whirl around, only to see the same, black-long hair man from the lecture hall. Only...It's not just any man.
It's Jeon Jungkook.
