Jimin sat blindfolded in a chair, his back facing the weird step thing. There were flower petals everywhere, and Taehyung kept sneezing. Apparently he was allergic to fake flowers.
An awkward silence ensued as a line of 10 people walked in. They both knew that weird drum music would be edited on top of it, but the people making it had spent all their money on the fake flower petals so they couldn't afford a speaker to just play the music.
Once all ten of the people got to their places on the weird step thing, the camera man signaled for the first person to start talking. "Uh, hi, I'm Yoongi, I'm 27, and I don't really want to be here, but I need clout, so here we are," the first dude said.
Taehyung made very overdramatic faces at the camera he knew was watching him from somewhere by the baes.
"Hi my name is Wendy, I'm 26, and I'm named after the fast food restaurant," the second person said, smiling at the camera. Jimin felt pressured to laugh, so he fake laughed incredibly loudly.
"I'm Namjoon, I'm 25, and I have an IQ of 148, so I can solve all your problems," the next dude said awkwardly, a forced smile frozen on his face. There was another awkward silence that was supposed to be filled with laughter, but it just wasn't.
"Hey, my name's Hoseok, I'm 26 years old, and I'm basically Charli D'Amelio, so if I win you can join the Hype House," the fourth person said and grinned. Jimin and Taehyung giggled slightly.
"Hello, I'm Jihyo, I'm 23, and I am god," the fifth person said.
Jimin gasped. "Omg, Jesus, is that youuuuu? Oppar?"
"No, Jesus and god are different," Jihyo said, sighing quietly. Jimin pouted, disappointed.
"Yo, whaddup, I'm Jae, I'm 27, and a fun fact about me is that I am actually Chicken Little," he said. Tae looked taken aback for a second.
"Oh my god, you are," he said, gaping slightly. Jae smiled and nodded directly at the camera.
"Hello, I'm Mark, I'm 20, and I hate ketchup," he said. Taehyung and Jimin both shook their heads, slightly disappointed.
"Hey, I'm Jungkook, I'm 22, and my only reason for living is banana milk."
"Wait, you too?" Mark said, turning to Jungkook.
"Yes!"
"Did we just become best friends?"
Jungkook nodded solemnly.
"Alright, you two shut up, this is about finding me a bae, not about you finding friends," Jimin said. Taehyung laughed nervously for the 85th time that day.
"Can I do my intro now or...?" the next guy asked.
"Yeah, go right ahead," the camera guy said.
"I'm Jin, I'm 27, and I'm Worldwide Handsome, so I'm clearly out of your league but y'know, I also don't have friends so..." Jin said. He then winked at Taehyung, who blushed ever so slightly and then laughed nervously for the 86th time that day.
"Hello. I'm Y/N, and I'm not like other girls," the last contestant said. "I wear beanies and-" she was cut off by Taehyung.
"ALRIGHTY, so there's a lot of good options. I might have a hard time picking just one bae for my bestie, but here goes!" Taehyung fake smiled.
"Remember Tae, if you don't pick someone good, I'm gonna kill you!" Jimin said, very cheerfully.
Taehyung laughed nervously for the 87th time that day.
