Chapter 26: The Child From The Unknown

Narrator-Kun: "After Jason had picked up the child from an unknown source he quickly made his way back to his room"

As Jason made his way back to his room, the baby within his arms arms quietly cooing within his arms, looking down at the child every now and again to check on the child's conditions, and once he arrived at his room he went passed his door, and knocked on the door of Kanra and Hideo room with his available hand, after a few minutes, no response, Jason knocked again, and still no answer, after the third time that was meet with no response, Jason went over to his room, taking out a keycard, and inserting it into the slot, before the light on the card reader transitioned from red to green, Jason opened the door, entering into his dark room, closing the door behind him, taking out his phone, turning the flashlight on, pointing it toward the ground as to try and not wake Akane whilst also making his way over to the booth, sitting down, turning on the same overhead light above the booth, turning off his flashlight before gently unwrapping the cloth that covered the child, as he unwrapped the cloth he was greeted by a horrifying sight, the child had speckles of dried blood on parts of her body, which only further added to Jason's horror of what happened to her mother, Jason further inspected the child's head, her eyes were closed as she was sleeping much to Jason's relief but he noticed her hair was white but she had a small black fringe that was on the left side of her face, as Jason took off his peaked cap, a knock came from the door, with the child still in his arms, he got up from the booth and put his face up next to the peckhole in the door seeing Kanra and Hideo dress in their respective sleep wear, before he opened the door slightly to greet them

"Hey-"

"Son I know that I am your future mother-in-law but what do you need me for at nearly three in the morning?" Kanra asked as she beared an aggravated face as well as Hideo

After Kanra asked that question Jason sighed before opening the door to the point of where he was fully visible to them, showing the child in his arms

"Son... Son... Where in the hell did you get this kid?!" Kanra stuttered as she was shocked by the view in front of her

"I know but this is not what it looks like, I was on my way back here after I let my three Admirals take control of the Admiralty meeting that is occuring right now on base, so I was walking back minding my own business and about fifty feet in front of me a pink portal opened up and out came a set of pale female looking humanoid arms, the thing about these arms is that they are heavily bruised and cuts are everywhere on the arms, and these arms were carry a basket, and in the basket there was this child, wrapped in cloth, and I think whoever the arms belong to noticed me, and immediately after the arms just flew right back into the portal and the portal closed and now here I am with a child, with the mother having god knows what happening to her, and I am in the state where I just need some help right now is that okay?"

"Yes it's fine can you let us in?"

"Yeah can do, and Mutter could you do me a giant favor and prop up Dredgen Yor on the booth pleason" Jason replied opening the door fully letting the two in before shutting the door behind them, before moving over to the booth

"Okay can do...So why did you need our help in the first place son?" Kanra asked quietly

"One reason, you were the closest with breast on you because if this child wakes up and is hungry, I am f-u-c-k-e-d, because I don't have any baby food ready to make in this room and most likely the store on base is fucking closed, you were the only ones I could think of that could help me out"

"Ah I see, so do you need anything else?"

"Yes could you please watch her for like five to ten minutes, whilst I get changed into something more comfortable?"
