Toni's POV:
I woke up with a neck ache. The couch wasn't as comfortable as I expected it to be. I walked into my bedroom and Cheryl was still sleeping. I knocked on the door frame trying to wake her up but she didn't hear so I decided to make some breakfast. Bacon and eggs sounded good so I grabbed them out of the fridge and freezer and started to make them. I heard shuffling coming from my room and hoped Cheryl had gotten up.
Cheryl's POV:
I woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs. It smelt so good my tiredness couldn't keep me in bed. I walked into the kitchen to see Toni making breakfast. "Hey you want something to eat?" she asked me while putting the finished bacon on a plate. "Yea sure," I replied, barely containing my smile. "Well I hope you like bacon." She put some on a plate and handed it to me. "Eggs will be done in a minute," she said as she turned back around to the stove. "Hey thanks. You didn't have to do this," I thanked her. "No problem. I tend to be the generous sort sometimes." She finished the eggs and put them on another plate. She sat them on the table and sat down with a plate of bacon. She grabbed an egg with her fork and told me to help myself so I grabbed an egg and put it on my plate.
Toni's POV:
Cheryl thanked me for the breakfast and left with a hug. She went back home. I waited about 20 minutes and then I texted her.
Me: Hey just wanted to check up on you to make sure everything was going okay😊
Cheryl🥰: Yea everything is good. Wyd?
Me: Dying of boredom you should come back to me...🥺
Cheryl🥰: I cant. Sorry my mother is lecturing me I gtg. Bye 👋🏼
I couldn't help but smile. She made me so happy no matter what she did. I wanted to tell her that so bad but I just couldn't. I grabbed my secret serpent diary and began writing about her. By the time I was done I realized I had strong feelings for her. I planned a way that I could tell her and ended up falling asleep.
