After you all returned from Miu's Virtual World, (y/c) came back to see Kokichi Ouma's corpse. His eyes were open wide in surprise, a genuine expression of fear that (Y/C) had never seen on his face before.
There was no way he was pretending to be dead.
In the liar's hand was a bottle of pills that were being tightly clenched, but it was rather obvious that there was no way he died from that since the bottle of pills still had a seal on it.
After getting nowhere in the investigation, (Y/C) decided to check the Virtual World once again for clues, but what they saw was the last thing expected.
"Hey, you finally came back! I was worried that you were all going to leave me here alone," Kokichi whined, eyes looking almost relieved to see (Y/C). "Buuut, that's a lie, I know no one would eeeever want to leav- Um, why are you looking at me like that?" He tilted his head, frowning slightly. "You look as if you've seen a ghost."
