Getting into the castle was a challenge itself, seeing as there was Lannister soldiers around every corner, and the sound of steel clashing echoed through the halls. But, after a long while, I made it back to my chambers.

I rushed inside and closed the door behind me, locking it for safety. Sighing, I pressed my back against it and looked around the room. Guards must have already been in here, seeing as my chest was overturned and the room was destroyed.

Not wasting any time, I grabbed a small satchel and stuffed it with a few essential things; my fur cloak, some food, and a change of clothes. I quickly put on my sword, strapped my knives to my body, and slung my bow over my back before throwing on my hooded cloak over my body.

The sounds of fighting got closer and louder, causing a slight panic to go through me. Sighing, I went to the only other way out of the room; the window.

Looking outside, I saw that there was, thankfully, a stable located right below. Taking a breath, I jumped out the window, landing with a thud into a large pile of hay.

I groaned in pain before gathering my things, throwing my hood up. Glancing behind me, I saw none other than my mare, the horse staring at me with his grey eyes. I smirked. "How the fuck did I get so lucky with this?"

I wasted no time in saddling him and hoping onto the steed, rushing out the open gates and into the dirt paths beyond. The whole way out of the city, I didn't look back. Not for a second.

I had just made it to the Kingsroad when a soft bark was heard behind me. Glancing over my shoulder, I chuckled lightly when I saw the familiar brown wolf running quickly towards me.

"Come on, you lucky bastard!" I yelled to him, not slowing down my horse's run. "We're going home!"
