Chapter 10 ~

(y/n)'s pov

I woke up the next day. The sun shined in very brightly. I felt a lot better today. Sitting upright in my bed I ate my breakfast. After that the nurse came in and said I had a visitor, In that moment Bokuto walked in. I didn't know what to do. All I knew is I had to get him to leave and not come back. Everything going on was so confusing. Maybe eventually I could get back to normal and everything will make sense.

"Hey hey hey (y/n) how are you feeling?"

The way he walked in and talked so nicely confused me even more. He doesn't even seem like someone who would beat someone up, but I guess I should listen to what Keri said because she's one of my good friends I guess. 

"uh-h I think you should l-leave please."

"(y/n)? are you okay i'm worried"

"yeah I am perfectly fine"

"o-oh? I'll just come back later then."

"uh. . no you can't do that"

"WHA- why not?"

"because I don't want to see you"

"(y/n) are you okay"

"yeah i'm perfectly fine just leave me alone I don't want to see you right. . .or ever"

I felt uncomfortable saying that I had to get Bokuto to leave and not come back he looked kind of hurt I wonder why.

"oh. . .I-I guess i'm going to get going than. . bye (y/n)"

You watched him walk out slowly as he wept.

Bokuto's pov

I walked out of (y/n)'s room. I could feel my eyes slowly tearing up. I know she can't remember anything but she seems so confused I just want to help. I felt like the end of the world was happening right in the moment. Like I was losing her right now. 

(time skip)

It was almost the end of the week. It has probably been the worst couple of days I've ever had in my life. I just wanted to go see (y/n) but she doesn't want to see me. I was in the locker room changing for volleyball when Akaashi came in.

"Hey Bokuto-san"

"hey hey hey Akaashi" I sad in a solemn tone

Akaashi turned and looked at me with a raised eyebrow

"what happend?"

"(y/n) doesn't ever want to see me again"

"oh why?"

I shrugged my shoulders "I couldn't tell you she seemed very serious about it though"

I brought my head down to my knee's.

"I'm sorry Bokuto-san take your time getting ready I will tell coach"

"No it's fine I will come with you"

Akaashi nodded as he waited for me to get my shoes. Then we ran off to the gym

(more time skip)

After practice I felt a little more better as volleyball is able to take my mind off of negative thoughts. . .sometimes. I saw Akaashi gathering his stuff to leave

"Oi Akaashi where are you going we should stay after together and practice are tempo set!"

"I'm sorry Bokuto I have something to do tonight I can stay after next week"

"oh. . .okay. . .i'll just stay after and practice my serve I guess"

"Okay Bokuto-san see you soon"

Akaashi picked up his stuff and left. It was kinda weird he usually does nothing ever. What could he possibly have after practice. I just shrugged and thought I may never know. I picked up a ball and started serving.

(y/n)'s pov

As the days passed by I slowly healed more. It was Friday night. I just ate dinner and was just playing games on my phone until the nurse came in my room and told me I had a visitor. I looked up confused. It couldn't be Keri because apparently she was moving or whatever she said. Oh no what if it's Bokuto. I got scared until I saw and black haired male walk into my room. The nurse left and the guy came and sat by the bed.

"H-hello. . .who are you?"

"My names Akaashi you may or may not remember me but we have a couple of classes together at Fukurodani"

"oh. . . Akaashi I think I remember you. . .I was in class with you shortly before I got beat up by Bokuto right?"

"what? Bokuto?"

"yes he was the one who put me here isn't he?"

"Uh no I'm sorry to say (y/n) but Bokuto didn't do any of that in fact he's actually your boyfriend"

"W-HAT? Then who put me here!?"

"A girl named Keri she got suspended and will be attending a different school now"

"but isn't she my good frien-"

Right then and there I was able to remember the past then. I was in total shock. I can't believe Keri did that. I also can't believe I told my boyfriend to never see me again. My heart sank as i felt sick to my stomach I needed to see Bokuto right this moment.

"(y/n)?"

I just looked at Akaashi before starting to get out of my hospital bed.

"(y/n) what are you doing ? you need to sit back down."

"I'm sorry Akaashi I need to go find Bokuto"

I turned around quick running out of the hospital as many nurses tried to stop me. I didn't listen to any of them I kept running know school was only a couple blocks down the street. I made it out of the hospital I paused looking at the beautiful sunset before I took off running again. My head started hurting more and more but I knew I had to keep going. I can't lose Bokuto. . .I won't loose Bokuto.
